colin wood
Ask yourself this Starman how could a woman who you say knows nothing about speedway get a top job presenting speedway on BT sport. She has also done lots of work for Belle Vue.You are 100% wrong.
WestGorton1884
Natalie Quirk as been a Speedway and Belle Vue Aces fan long before she joined BT sports , to claim , she ... "knows nothing about the sport" , is ridiculous
RyeHouseExile
Pretty much shot your own argument down in flames, well done! Not that you had one in the first place. As I said, keep on paying and you will have nothing worthwhile on Free to Air,merely lining Murdoch's pockets. You are also obviously satisfied with only a few Speedway meetings on TV for the whole season instead of regular coverage. Well they've just advertised the GP'S on BT sport two, so know doubt they will altanate between 2-3 and so will the premiership, I would expect... Shadders
Natalie Quirk knows nothing about Speedway ? After that ridiculous statement, I'd say Its a safe bet she knows more than you My coffee table knows more about speedway than that Poole tool As I said, keep on paying and you will have nothing worthwhile on Free to Air,merely lining Murdoch's pockets. You are also obviously satisfied with only a few Speedway meetings on TV for the whole season instead of regular coverage. For regular speedway I like to pay a visit to my local track. If more people did that instead of relying on TV coverage perhaps it wouldn't be in such a mess Edited April 17, 2017 by Shads
keef robin
True...you get all these experts who only follow updates or watch it on the Tele, but unfortunately some dont have a local track.

I appreciate that, but I'll wager there are hundreds, probably thousands who do, but can't be bothered. East End Fan
Great that BT picked up the Sky contract...if that is what happened...I enjoy some TV speedway BUT it has not got the appeal of actually being there and the gates have not increased since TV started showing live speedway. So I hope BT are making up the probable income loss from armchair viewers like I am sometimes.
damosuzuki
BT Doing a sterling job as ever with the GP's and also PUSHING speedway in the way Sky never bothered. Hopefully their domestic coverage is a success, but you can barely turn on BT Sports atm without an ad for the speedway or a GP replay on. Good stuff.

someone
BT Doing a sterling job as ever with the GP's and also PUSHING speedway in the way Sky never bothered. No ratings information is available for the Slovenian Grand Prix, but the Warsaw one was only watched by 10k live. Another 13k saw the highlights on Sunday lunch time, many of which would probably be people wanting to watch it again. Last season's lowest rated grand prix was 22k for Gorzow, and the highest was 48k for Slovenia, although the World Cup Final was slightly better with 49k. The ratings were not known for the Australian meeting or the German Grand Prix, although that one was under 28k as it never made the weekly top ten for BT Sport 2. From the last GP season on Sky, in 2012, their lowest rated meeting was 40k for the Scandinavian Grand Prix from Målilla, although the ratings are not available for the New Zealand one which will have certainly been lower given the start time. All the official ratings data available from the BARB, if you want to pick it out for yourself: http://www.barb.co.uk/viewing-data/weekly-top-10/

SteveLyric2
BT are only starting their League coverage with half the season gone. At least Sky started their coverage from the off Yeah and that was so successful wasn't it?! Clashes with other major sports fixtures reaching a season conclusion and a serious risk of rain-offs in March/April!! I hope BT Sport get decent viewing figures for their League coverage and I hope they approach it in a similar way next season - maybe with a couple of SGBC meetings thrown in. OveFundinFan
I would love to get decent viewing via BT. I put my order in 9th March for fast fibre. phone, TV package with multiroom, and still waiting for connection. The fibre box is about 10 paces across the road (fact). Tuesday I got call from BT to say Openreach would be here Wednesday, to connect external of the house, no need to be in. No show. Today I rang BT, was told (after delay whilst they contact Openreach) they didnt have time yesterday, would try for today or tomorrow (friday) It is scheduled for next Friday, 9th June, for engineer to come to connect inside. That wont be don unless outside is finished. Not holding my breath put my patience is now a bit thin. I do have access to BT Sport on my mobile phone which I can cast to my TV, but whulst picture quality looks ok on phone, it looses some quality on the TV, watchable but not brilliant. I missed 3 GPs now (in high quality) and if not connected I will also miss the 4th GP, Prague, on the 10th. Not a happy bunny.
