Grachan
I wonder how many British riders were invited to ride at this meeting ..... What the hell as that got to do with anything? It's an opportunity to see some riders who British fans wouldn't normally get a chance to see riding in the UK and people come out with twaddle like this!

barrybishop
just a quick note on the Ben Fund and being south.... On the Isle of Wight we are holding the Bryn Williams Celebration on April 20th, it is a free meeting to the public and there will be ben fun buckets there for donations as this was one of Bryns favourite causes - travel discount via our website...... secondly The Wightlink Warriors are sponsoring Darcy's invitational heat number 10... have a great meeting everyone and all the best from the Wightlink Warriors...
Grachan
Got to do with it ? Nothing until you start moaning about how British riders aren't doing well against the big guys I hardly think that a Darcy Ward invitation meeting has anything to do with that. It's an open meeting and they have clearly decided to invite some big names along as an attractive season opener.

If so, could you please send me a private message remembering to include your mobile number. Many thanks
Steve Shovlar
Forecast is good for tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing some racing with some big names. Line up: H.Andersen, D.Watt, T.Kurtz, J.Grajczonek, K.Newman, E.Sajfutdinov, T.Batchelor, Pr.Pawlicki, N.Klindt, Pi.Pawlicki, J.Doyle, R.Schlein, K.Kasprzak, N.Morris, C.Holder, B.Kurtz. Hopefully fans from other clubs will come down to cheer on their riders. Be interesting to see how Doyle goes on his return to the track. Expect Chris Holder to get a very warm reception. Steve Shovlar
Car park full. Very busy already.
mdmc82
Newman withdrawn from the meeting already. Who puts on a meeting without any reserves. Bit silly as already they are down to 14 riders. That means several races with 3 riders and even a race with only 2 riders
full-throttle
does it really matter? when the line up was finalised who predicted the M6 would be closed for 12 hours and a rider would withdraw after one lap?

Track getting extra work quite greasy due to rain this week.

There is always a risk in Speedway of injury so most meetings have reserves
markyb
Watching the speedway updates and ashamed of the line-up of speedway "stars" who have come out to support somebody who imo would of been one of the best.. Darcy had deserved so much better !!
sommelier
This is a damn embarrassment. The track is awful. Taking all the dirty of the first bend now. I can see this being cancelled. A bloody joke of a track. That from a Poole supporter of over 45 years Totally agree with you, Poole track nothing but a joke, all Kippers & curtains!
OveFundinFan
Sounds a bit similar to BV 2016, within days to the same date. The season is starting too soon, weather is going to be unpredictable. Its a shame, because as like last year, a good quality international field is gathered. mdmc82
@Poolespeedway Riders have assembled on the in-field .... and sadly the news is that the track conditions are deemed not safe and meeting abandoned!
