Col
Holder was world class younger in life than Iversen, I'd would put that down to him being the more confident individual of the two. If you are asking to pick which in the current state of affairs is the more capable rider then I'd say Holder. Iversen had a fairly dreadful 2016, in World terms. Ask me for the Previous 3 years and I'd have said Iversen. If you ask me which one I'd rather lead an Premiership team next year, I'd choose Iversen. I don't think either will be World Champion this GP season or beyond, but Holder will get closer, I'd still choose Iversen as a #1 in UK league over Holder for the next few years.
Sidney the robin
No one will ever get me to criticise Niels for what he has done for KingsLynn these past years. Without him our team would have been rubbish. His professionalism, His attitude, his temperment and ability have been faultless. No way would KL have treated him as Poole have Chris Holder. Niels would have been the fist name on the sheet. He is that good...... Â As a superb No1 the only person capable of filling the massive hole Neils has left is Chris Holder. Poole's lost is our gain. He is probably the only guy capable of replacing Niels in every aspect of the game. I am filled with the same excitement I felt with Niels rode for us, and feel Chris will excel in his roll here at Lynn. He will lead, he will share, he will be part of, he will be everything a No1 should be. I am in no doubts Matt Ford will forever regret his decision to let Noddy go...... Â Whose the best................Who cares?? What a mistake Poole have made, Holder is a superb team man and nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see him win a WC again in the future. He is good anough i really see him having a few full houses this year and the track will suit him down to the ground. He is a great replacement for the loyal and superb PUK the Lynn fans will enjoy watching him this year.

Poole have not made a mistake, he fully understands why he isn't in the team and Kings Lynn fully understand why Iversen isn't riding here this season. Holder rides Saddlebow Road track brilliantly so expect him to get plenty of points. Can't really see him winning a WC anytime soon though. Looking forward to seeing KK ride against Holder this season home and away they will be good battles.

Re Holder v Puk - I've barely agreed with anything Col has posted recently, but I reckon his post above is spot on.

Disagree both are poor at places like Monmore, not much between them and Poole are far better off with strength in depth.
Col
I would take Holder as #1 over Kasprzak as #1 everyday of the week regardless of average. I would take Iversen as #1 over Kasprzak as #1 everyday of the week regardless of average. I'd take Lindgren over all of them on current averages, look Dogheads I gave your team some credit. Re Holder v Puk - I've barely agreed with anything Col has posted recently, but I reckon his post above is spot on. Holder the last few years has been slowly feeling his way back after those really bad injuries.Britain last year right at the end things were beginning to click and in the GPS to.I can see him bossing Britain this year and be in the top six minimum in the GPS hope so anyway.Disagree both are poor at places like Monmore, not much between them and Poole are far better off with strength in depth.I look at Poole and think have they got any RELIABLE big hitters which you can guarantee double figures plus 4/5 times no is my belief. Also Poole must be worried that Holder will get back to his best which he can do with this fresh challenge for him at Lynn signs look good started well in the Darcy meeting. g13webb
Posters on here are all making an opinion of two class riders, no noone has mentioned the trumors both have had to over come . Holder has sufferred more than Niels but both have been to hell and back and that takes time. It pleased me tremendously that Noddy won the SGP in Australia last year ( even when he was a Poole rider) I like good men to do well. My opinion of Hancock took a dosedive for his antics showing no respect for the fans at all. and I want to believe Holder had no part in that. Â Given that they are now injury free and all the gremlins behind them I don't think there is much to choose who is best. Both are increditable to watch and a credit to our sport........ Â I just wish there were more like them two.........

I agree Lindgren on current averages is a no brainer and averages have to be taken in to account when building a team, so in my opinion, KK is much better value on his average than Holder or Iversen and consequently the team overall is stronger. Kings Lynn have managed to build a strong team around Holder because of their rider base and partly due to the fact that riders like Batchelor had a particularly bad season last year. Holder the last few years has been slowly feeling his way back after those really bad injuries.Britain last year right at the end things were beginning to click and in the GPS to.I can see him bossing Britain this year and be in the top six minimum in the GPS hope so anyway. In my opinion KK is a reliable big hitter and up and coming riders like Jack Holder and Brady Kurtz should improve their averages, so should Klindt especially starting at reserve. Chris Holder was almost back to his best last season and will have a cracking season.
