Popular Post dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
So Leigh has announced his decision to hang up his kevlars. Congratulations on a fine career fella and I wish you all the best for life after speedway. I feel lucky to have been aquainted with Leigh over the years in some small way. A true gentleman with a professionalism that all young riders could learn so much from. I think it would be remiss of me to at this point not also mention his brother and right hand man Nicki. There will be very few pit crew as capable and loyal as him. Top man. See you around fellas. 👍🍺

Both good servants to the sport and I wish him well.
Gunner85
I hope he enjoys his retirement from riding.... it would be nice if he could be involved in bringing on the British youth riders... I well remember a brilliant race from in Heat 15 @ Scunthorpe where he reeled in Josh Auty and then on the last bend he hugged the white line and overtook Josh to win the race. Lots of other great racing in recent seasons...
Bunce
Great rider, and terrific team man. May I wish him a long and happy retirement from the sport, and maybe hope he will still be involved in some capacity in the future. Well done Leigh.

Aroundtheboards
Leigh Lanham is one of the nicest blokes to grace our sport. I am about the same age as his dad Mike and I watched him in the 70s, another top bloke ! Enjoy your speedway from the other side of the fence now Leigh and enjoy the time with your family. I was always impressed with the way you were immaculately turned both personally and your equipment, A1. If there is ever an ambassador to the sport and someone for youngsters to look to as a role model, your the man ! I enjoyed you riding for the Rebels and when they let you go I was fuming but you were mature about the whole thing and moved on in that same professional manner that you always have and gave your best to Scunny and Rye. Good luck Leigh Lanham and thanks for the entertainment. Your brother is also in the same mould and I am sure he will be missed around the pits.
