Seems utterly bizarre. We did wonder if he was offered a place but turned it down taking into account his score in last year's challenge along with riding for four teams this year and all of the U21 and SWC commitments. Perhaps he thought he had enough on his plate and is a year or two away from being ready for the GP's. Complete waste of time and has probably had 8 goes at the qualifiers over the years and been crap every year.
