9. Pontus Asprgen

10. Grigory Laguta

What has happened with Nicolas Covatti? Has he quit or is he injured? If not surprised that he didnt get a wildcard, he has been the best Italian rider for the last few years

Injured while riding for Ipswich earlier this season and likely to be out for some time.

Really shame that lambert wasn't given either a British spot or a wildcard spot

Anyone have a list of the remaining 32?

Utterly mad that we didn't give him a place. I just assumed it was because he was going to get one in the later rounds.

So with 4 current GP riders and 7 past GP riders in the semi's nobody but Laguta would give the current GP boys a run for the money

The best result this year would be any of the GP riders or Ex GP riders(not all of them) in the top 3 and the wild cards go to this years riders and await if any of the young riders came on towards the end of the season and then qualifyer easy next season for 2019. Belle vue fan and Fricke and cook just not ready yet but maybe there the ones to shine next season for 2019.

Would be a problem if they are actually in the competition.Could it be the case that these reserves cannot qualify further?Hasn't it been the case in some previous competitions that reserves are considered 'outside' of the comp?Otherwise, yes a problem

I think it is wrong if that is the case. There are too much wild cards and etc already.

Olching

Erik Riss (9th in the Abensberg quali)

Rene Deddens (did not take part in the qualis)

Terenzano

Paco Castagna (14th in the Zarnovica quali)

Seems utterly bizarre. We did wonder if he was offered a place but turned it down taking into account his score in last year's challenge along with riding for four teams this year and all of the U21 and SWC commitments. Perhaps he thought he had enough on his plate and is a year or two away from being ready for the GP's.
