from the gate
The 4 teams .. It seems a little bit folk with teams which include professionals, begginers, 500, 250, girls and 15/16-year-old boys ! majority of them are grass and long track riders and are not all equipped with speedway bikes . iris123
Are the "250CC" riders expected to race against the "500CC" riders? Doubt it.Probably following the german example of having exclusive 250cc races within a team meeting
from the gate
Are the "250CC" riders expected to race against the "500CC" riders? Yes... And ,the level of the riders is really ill-assorted . I'm sure that some youngs 250 riders are best than a lot of 500 begginers . I can't wait to see that. f-s-p
Yes... And ,the level of the riders is really ill-assorted . I'm sure that some youngs 250 riders are best than a lot of 500 begginers . I can't wait to see that. Thats very interesting. Since it's against a very basic rule in speedway that you need 350-500cc engine in a speedway race. Good thing that the French sort out this legal and insurance wise, so if it's allowed, we can possibly adapt it ovee here. Cant see it happening though, too dangerous. HenryW
The results for the first meeting can be found here http://m.sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/667316/ligue-national-de-speedway-mc-marmande-ponownie-na-kolanach-show-braci-tresarrie It doesn't really explain what they did with the 250cc guys. They appeared in the same races as others, with Leon Flint winning one of them!
