SolentPirate
Just a thought, could more international competitions and test matches make the sport more seem more serious to the outside world? Would having certain events in alternate years benefit the sport internationally? So one year have a world team cup and European pairs, then European team cup and World pairs the next? for example; 2017 - World Individual World U21 Individual European Individual European U21 Individual World Team Euro Pairs 2018 - World Individual World U21 Individual European Individual European U21 Individual World Pairs Euro Team Also, would having international breaks throughout the season help? So maybe 3/4 weeks of the season, no domestic top flight speedway takes place and nations have test matches? This would also benefit GB riders giving them a chance to race abroad. Send the 'top guys' to face Poland & Denmark away one break, then send the younger or less experienced riders to Czech or Germany the next? Again, just an idea ive been having.
