Little Thumper
Just been watching this on Motors tv and - it's boring as hell. Well, that's a shame. Not having a TV, I haven't seen it myself. Did you notice if they had to do endless chain adjusting and faffing about with the clutch? How did they cope with the starts. Many rollers or twitchers? Thanks.

Little Thumper
obviously you have never had the misfortune to come across MX mentality otherwise you wouldn't need to ask , As so often , your assertion is correct. And as you say, some of those MX people have rather inflated egos! Edited December 18, 2016 by Little Thumper
Steve Shovlar
What I meant by an NL rider would have them for breakfast was if he was on his speedway bike. These mx bikes cant properly broadside and look nowhere near as quick as a speedway bike. It just looks crap. Imo.

My dads mates classic 50cc road racer is also faster around Mallory Park than my 500cc PJR GM.

You're entitled to your opinion that it's crap but speed wise there's very little in it with regards to lap times between the fast guys and NL Speedway riders. They can broadside but with the tyres it isn't the fast way around. However that is immaterial, it's a different sport and like saying MotoGP isn't as fast as F1.
