Did you notice if they had to do endless chain adjusting and faffing about with the clutch?

How did they cope with the starts. Many rollers or twitchers?

And as you say, some of those MX people have rather inflated egos!

My dads mates classic 50cc road racer is also faster around Mallory Park than my 500cc PJR GM.

You're entitled to your opinion that it's crap but speed wise there's very little in it with regards to lap times between the fast guys and NL Speedway riders. They can broadside but with the tyres it isn't the fast way around.

 

However that is immaterial, it's a different sport and like saying MotoGP isn't as fast as F1.
