The Tai Woffinden Testimonial

...but the usual requirement is that the years need to be consecutive (however has he actually ridden ten years for Wolves?) but that ideology went out years ago judging by some of the meetings staged in the past (Peter Ravn is one that immediately comes to mind).

he made his Wolves debut in 2009 however signed as an asset in 2007. So I find it baffling why he even thinks he deserves one! He rode 10 of the past 11 seasons if you include his NL spell with Scunthorpe.

You will have stevebrum on your case now saying everyone loves TW

Clearly not everyone does. Facts are the vast majority of Cardiff will.

So if he doesn't get a great reception you might have a point.

You didn't this year as your mission to make TW out as public enemy number one exploded on you the minute he received a heroes welcome in Cardiff and being back in the EL.

He has lost a few more naturally by his decision to not ride from for GB next season however not many hate him the way you do (and some of your cohorts).

The average fan at Cardiff will only be too happy to see the best British rider in modern history in action on home shale.

Me neither as I don't like individual meetings, although I did go to the Chris Harris one as he had ridden for Coventry for so long so deserved a good crowd for his testimonial.

I used to like the days when each track held its big Individual Meeting when riders you'd perhaps only see once or twice a year would gather. Unfortunately with the dwindling number of teams over a period of years riders would appear on a regular basis at your local track and it no longer became a novelty.
