Pob
Your team isn't in the SGB Premiership but it doesn't stop you talking manure all over the SGB Premiership section does it?. As I said on previous occasions grow up fella. OK so Gavan visits the Premiership thread so what a lot of us also do . But at least his comments most of the time are about the time or a rider connected to the thread . From what I've seen of Starman comments on this thread I can't see anything about team or riders , Its just normally a blatant comment that has no meaning other than to try and knock wind up or what ever you want to call it towards a poster What's that you say grow up fella mmmmm
Crump99
Steve is obviously an earnest and genuine speedway fan but he does encourage Starman and KKS but constantly arguing with them. Please give it a rest, Steve! That was the one of the few upsides of lower level speedway: losing brum from our, or any come to that, threads. He's like my dog, will always come back for the last bark.
stevehone
Ipswich are the stronger side. Schlein, Newman, Heeps & Mountain all have the edge. big injury Mountain is coming back from, hope he copes ok with it

As I said on previous occasions grow up fella. ah i see you cant do sarcasm or hypocrisy either. You Poole fans tell everyone to leave the Poole thread and go back to their own threads...........................you lack the intellect to realise my tone of post. OK so Gavan visits the Premiership thread so what a lot of us also do . But at least his comments most of the time are about the time or a rider connected to the thread . Its only when the local numptys come on and dont actually debate that i sometimes get annoyed with them But you are totally correct..........they dont have the intelligence to respond with anything other than abuse

szkocjasid
Easy way to do this is rate every rider 1 to 10 for each position and team with the lowest number has the best chance of winning. This is just my attempt and not a bad way of doing this. So best number 1 is Cook and he gets rating of 1 for example. This would suggest Sheffield, Ipswich and Glasgow as a top three. Have to wait to see what Edinburgh do. This is just a guess at what would happen and how I rate riders. Please everyone else have a go. Berwick 1. Lewis Bridger (8.53) 8th 2. Should be other way round shouldn't it? So, using your system, this would also slightly change the overall score/rating for the two teams. Using the averages you've listed, the number 1's should actually be in this order(?): Craig Cook (9.83) 1st Danny King (9.57) 2nd Sam Masters (8.97) 3rd Josh Grajczonek (8.90) 4th Robert Lambert (8.70) 5th Aaron Summers (8.57) 6th Jason Garrity (8.55) 7th Lewis Bridger (8.53) 8th Jack Holder (7.16) 9th Ryan Douglas (7.18) 10th Edit: Seems to be something wrong with the 4th positions as well. From the averages you've listed Starke isn't the highest average Number 4 rider. Think you've transposed Starke (6.62) and Vissing (6.80). GS550
He's not ranking by averages. He's ranking them in order of his personal opinion. That's not what the original post way back several pages said - it was by ranking only (as in average ranking) for each position. Also, if its by "his personal opinion" how come practically every ranking is per their average and exactly in order. i think the whole idea is to give your personal view of riders abilities otherwise there wouldn't be 11 pages of this stuff The first post on page 1 of this thread yes, but not the (later) post which put forward listing by each riders position / average - that was proposed purely on their average ranking, nowt else. Shouldnt ryan be above jack? Well spotted. Correctamundo!! Edited December 26, 2016 by justere2cgoodspeedway
