mikec
Hope Hopwood is fit enough to race tomorrow night, goes well at our place. Stoneman was really good round the NSS last season & really looking forward to seeing Thomas again, as well as young Rowe for the first time. Expecting a Colts win, but definitely no 60 points this time, anticipate a strong showing from the Kings despite the side being hit by injury. mikec
As I expected, the Kings gave the Colts their toughest home examination of the season. Davey was an excellent guest, Stoneman started strongly too. Thomas was lively, led Bewley briefly in one race & beat Smith in an excellent heat as well. Don't think he was too happy with Hopwood getting in his way in his 2nd ride though! Reserves were always in the mix, really impressed by young Rowe, looks an exciting prospect. On that showing Kent look a top 4 side, no question.

East End Fan
I agree with Mikec about Kent. I saw them at Eastie and they looked good. But they have lost matches that they would have needed to win if they are going to make the top 4. Can still make it though but I expect my own team, Lakeside, to keep them out. Moleman27
I expect Eastbourne, Lakeside and Belle Vue to make the play offs, but the fourth position is still open for who may get it.
Sings4Speedway
Any word on how long Stoneman is likely to be out for? Broken Tib sounds like the long haul so difficult times for Kent with changes surely on the cards?

mikec
Blimey Kent have had terrible luck with injury this season. I enjoy watching Nathan Stoneman, hope he makes a speedy recovery & is back racing soon.
East End Fan
Must agree with mikec about Stoneman. The few times I've seen him he has shown huge courage. Isn't it ironic that this serious injury comes because he decided to double up with Sheffield. Their comments in this week's Speedway Star about their bottom end riders show how much they care. Sings4Speedway
Big shame about Stoneman. I do wonder if hes been dragged along a bit quickly as its easy to forget he came in at reserve during last season. As for Kent RR is going to be limited and maybe changes would be best. If its multiple changes does the team have to come back to under the points limit?

Less than a year ago he didn't have any team place and then he's found himself in 2 leagues! Yep, multiple changes have to slot under the 39 limit. Injuries can happen at any time i quite agree some just seem to be more prone than others (not implying anything about Stoneman). Thats rough for Kent then and most likely rules out a Shanes return. Not many riders around 7 point mark available and Kent are without a genuine heat leader now barring guests. Eastbourne would work around this but not sure Kent are quite as savvy?
