Brummie Boy
Terrible decision Who would you have signed instead of Kyle? We had to sign someone following Danyon's prolonged absence.
TurnTwo
No you didn't, you run rr for Danyon and use Bickley Brennan and Jenkins for hay these 3 riders won't get averages until may / June

Brummies_Ste
The faculty for Hay was for only 28 days which runs out in a week or so a permanent signing had to be made & with little over 3 points available options were very limited. Islander15
The faculty for Hay was for only 28 days which runs out in a week or so a permanent signing had to be made & with little over 3 points available options were very limited. You could've used Bickley etc until Hay's facility runs out and then used Roberts anyway as he would be an unattached 3.00. So use Roberts for a month but sign Halder with the intention of him riding once he's completed his exams in early/mid June.
ProudtobeaBrummie
halder/kirby/wilson All 3 better options.. Problem is GD doesn't treat struggling riders very well hence why kirby and wilson wouldn't come back for him.. *JJ
Doesn't treat junior riders very well at all; speaking as one who has tried to get him to allow a local rider to practice at Perry Barr.

Islander15
It is Carr. Has he been dropped by Berwick then? Also unfortunately for Hume that he's going to miss the whole of the rest of the season! Edited May 3, 2017 by Islander15

Islander15
I thought riders over a 4.00 Championship average couldn't DU and ride NL as well. I think that's right, off the top of my head anyway. Or is it current average and not starting average? TurnTwo
I'm sure rule book states they have to be in initial declared and they have to be under 4? So how has this move been made possible?

You are indeed correct according to the 2017 regulations: 19.9.1 The Initial Team Declaration may include current Championship riders, who are under 25 years-old with a Championship MA of 4.00 or below at the start of the season, riders with a Championship MA of 6.00 or below, provided they are not declared in a Championship 1-7 at the start of the season; and all of whom must hold a full UK Passport and have an ACU Licence.

Thats pretty clear, let's see how they get round it if Even IF Carr is dropped by Berwick as it does say provided they are NOT declared in a Championship Team at the START of the season.Interesting !! Moleman27
Look at Liam's average on speedway stats for this season, you will see its only 3.16 So you can see he is eligible too come in fir Danyon.
Trees
Probably a post that I should have considered but much like each rider should consider if they can commit to a full season before signing. Obviously unexpected things happen and I wish Chris Hay all the best in the future and brum all the best in finding a suitable replacementThey're youngsters on the whole, not professionals, they're learning their trade, stuff happens... Probably that which is in the best interests of British Speedway. Innit? He's a youngster and needs a place in our training league, that's all the really matters.
