OveFundinFan
Just picked this up from You Tube about the Collins family - Peter, Les, Phil, Neil and Stephen. Its 1.5 hours long but I found it extremely interesting, informative and shows what a talent there was in that family. Stick it out, some good racing footage. Pity dad, Bill Collins, was not around to see the successful speedway years. He died in the early 1970's, missed Peters world championship, but was heavily involved in those early speedway years of Peters and the grass track years. Not as successful, but probably more 'family relevant', were the Serrurier brothers, Doug,(Capt.) Jack, Harry, Allen & Bob, of the South African East Rand Eagles, for they all rode together in 1948, and constituted the full 5-man Eagles team in the SA Transvaal Lge. of that time. https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5750/30750656091_2fc6be1a4c_m.jpg Edited November 7, 2016 by britmet

iris123
Guess the Crump/Street family were also very successful even though most of the titles were won by Jason

Joe Beevers
Well on statistics, I suppose you would have to look at Ivan and Kym Mauger for World Titles who both rode.

lucifer sam
There's a four-generation Dugard dynasty, with Martin Dugard the best of them. All the best Rob

Tigerblade
Well on statistics, I suppose you would have to look at Ivan and Kym Mauger for World Titles who both rode. With respect, Kym was never more than a second division reserve. I can't see past the Collins brothers as the most successful family - one World Champion, two other World Finalists, and another who rode for 20 plus years to a good standard. Plus Stephen who had a brief attempt of course.

norbold
I can't see past the Collins brothers as the most successful family..... Well, we've had lots of families mentioned now, but you're right, Tigerblade, none to match the Collins brothers.
BOBBATH
Sadly folks , I still gotta go with the Williams family. Two world champs with Fred, more world finals with Eric Williams than with Les, and Ian in his one World Final did better than Phil Collins. So there.!!!! Even if you throw in Venus and Serena, the Collins brothers still have the edge. (Seriously through, one brother as World No 1 and another brother as World No 2 is the clincher ) All the best Rob Edited November 17, 2016 by lucifer sam
