Islander15
They should sign Govier at reserve and a couple of the old guard will likely return, for example Smart, so the team should be decent enough too.

KIRKYLANE
Good luck in 2017. Plymouth fans get behind your team no matter who is promoting and secure your future
solrac
I would be surprised if Mattie Bates and Richard Andrews weren't involved if Plymouth do emerge in the National League.

Kyle Hughes .. brendan Johnson would be three targets for sureis that you in the no again or just surmising which you seem to be very good at if he wants the fans onside he will not sign govier or smart or bates because frankly there hopeless or over the hill for what is out there. Gunner85
Local riders from the grass track scene could be a good path to take.
Mike0310
I really do believe they will have to try and sign some of the top national league riders I think people are slowly coming round to the idea of national league but I think they will want a winning team not a team of wobblers that's what the mdl is for developing riders for the national league and beyond if they go down that route they will be in trouble before they even start. roguetrader
is that you in the no again or just surmising which you seem to be very good at if he wants the fans onside he will not sign govier or smart or bates because frankly there hopeless or over the hill for what is out there. Darren alias noname is not in the know. If he was he would know that Plymouth is one of Brendan Johnsons most hated tracks.

Darren alias noname is not in the know. If he was he would know that Plymouth is one of Brendan Johnsons most hated tracks.Doesn't mean he wouldn't be good around there now.. when was the last time he rode it ?? I would say it's a good few years ago.. he used to hate it but I would bet he doesn't now young riders who couldn't handle it used to hate it quite a few riders hated the track usually because of the waves going into bend 3.. of course if you know him go check with him.. the last time I spoke to him about speedway he didn't hate it at all.. and I would say while Brendan is hopefully going to be fit for next years racing you try not to tell potential promoters wrong facts about riders.. that's unfair to the riders Poorly informed really.. tut tut Edited November 14, 2016 by no name

dazzafl
Well if you know him go ask him the same question you just said he hated it.. he was out injured last year and I hope he will be ok to ride next year .. i suggest you go speak to him and ask him before putting out on a public forum that the potential new promoters could be looking in on stating he hates plymouth.. potentially writing off a chance of a team place for next year.. If they were interested in him they can phone him and ask him not write him off because any old Tom Dick and Harry say he is no good

Home track knowledge is better must always win at home.. Best of luck to the new promotion on building a great team

Sings4Speedway
My personal feeling of the popular names mentioned is that Brendan has unfinished business on the Island, Shanes will be back at Kent & if memory serves me right Matt Bates had to retire from racing due to his knee? On the flip side i think Boxall, Andrews & Govier are highly likely along with a second halfer.

Sings4Speedway
Im guessing Boxall would be a 10+ average. I don't think he is the force he once was but still a joy to watch especially at NL level providing he is on a reliable bike.
