secsy1
6 628 Yes, Six thousand six hundred and twenty eight attended Derwent Park yesterday evening. Â Need to tap into that figure to watch the Comets as it is better value for money than watching that Mickey Mouse Sport they went to last night. topaz325
Went last night very good crowd many came from all over the country. Good presentation , lighting and sound, even though the crowd was very big it seemed quiet, until one team scored, maybe it's the norm for rugby? Just shows how speedway has gone backwards over the years, in the 60's and 70's speedway was Britain's 2nd largest attended sport only being surpassed by football, and now we have tracks struggling to get 600/800 through the turnstiles to make ends meet. Â Slightly spurious argument though as there is far more other attractions now that back in the day.
scaramanga
Â Slightly spurious argument though as there is far more other attractions now that back in the day. and also many stay at home to watch sport now rather than out in the cold wet summer
szkocjasid
http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/pl16_issue_final_3.pdf  Check the 3 pointers in this list, if there is no such thing as a 3 pointer Mitchell Davey is a 3 pointer (i'm sure rules said anyone who previously never got above 3 can go as low as 2) Davey was previously over 3 so would come in on a 3 point average!
