Islander15
Use guests and pick the best of the bunch depending on which track you're at?
Alex2000
Use guests and pick the best of the bunch depending on which track you're at? could look at it that way but don't we all hate having to use guests as much as r/r? Would prefer a regular 1 to 7. Obviously no rush to get the wrong person in but it's nice to habe the same 7 every week.
dovetoe
Decent meeting today despite a well underwatered track. The choice of 2 & 4 cost eastie in heat 15, after they almost got out of jail. Maybe mildy finally realised JK needed a watered track to make the gate...miss the gate he gets no where
Scott Cassell
Could you not use the guy that you actually declared in your 1-7. Or is that not allowed in the NL anymore.
solrac
Maybe mildy finally realised JK needed a watered track to make the gate...miss the gate he gets no where Ah the same JK that missed the gate on Saturday and blasted round two if theirs in half a lap. sussex bulldog
Eastbourne Speedway’s top riders face a major struggle on Saturday night to maintain supremacy on their own track.Buxton come to Sussex with two of the best riders in the National League, Adam Roynon and Max Clegg in their ranks. They will provide a stern challenge to Eastbourne’s No 1 and captain Georgie Wood, Jake Knight and Mark Baseby.Roynon, who only recently dropped into the National League with Plymouth, is certainly the man to beat at the moment. He comes in as a guest replacement for Matt Williamson who is riding for his senior club, Workington.Clegg, who is a recent Buxton signing, was a thorn in Eastbourne’s side last year when he rode for Cradley.Eastbourne IT First Eagles team manager, Connor Dugard, said: “Adam Roynon is obviously a very good rider but everyone can be beaten and our boys will be aiming to do just that.“Roynon and Clegg make Buxton very attractive opponents. We are looking forward to an excellent night’s racing and three more league points.”Dugard introduces Matty Marson into the team as a guest. He rode last year in the world junior 250cc championship, in which the Eagles’ Tom Brennan also took part.“There’s no pressure on him. We just want him to go out and enjoy the experience.,” Dugard said.Marson rode for Mildenhall last Sunday and scored paid six points.Eastbourne: Georgie Wood, Tom Brennan, Mark Baseby, Charley Powell, Jake Knight, Matty Marson, Matt Bates.Buxton:r Adam Roynon, Jamie Halder, Tom Woolley, Ryan Kinsley, Max Clegg, Lee Geary, Ben Woodhull.Saturday’s meeting at the Eagles’ Arlington Stadium, just off the A22 at Hailsham, begins at 7.30pm. teaboy279
Just for semantics Marson is not a guest (to be a guest you need to be in another teams declared 1-7) He is riding as a 3 point unattached rider.

Hunters
Workington match postponed so presumably Williamson not Roynan tonight?
solrac
Depends where Williamson lives I suppose as to whether he can get down there in time.
solrac
'Tis Matt Williamson.
Hunters
Glad it is Williamson, he and Clegg go well at Arlington and 8 heats of them against a mixture of the home three will be well worth watching. Don't ever recall Roynan riding here so could have been a disappointment as he was a bit off the mark at Lakeside last night which is a similar track. Track has been well prepared this year with plenty of dirt for those that have a go around the outside.
