Harris 9.27

Nicholls 9.23

Masters 8.88

Lambert 8.76

Klindt 5.42

Clegg 4.04

Bewley 4

Best so far!

Blimey is that all Harris converts to - pretty much the same average as Tungate and Josh G finished on at Somerset

I reckon a shrewd promotor in the 2nd league could easily put a good team together to challenge any of the teams in the first league or get very close

Agreed. If a PL club can afford to get 2 or 3 of Schlein, Batch and Watt they have a top 3 that can challenge anything the EL can throw at it.

Is Mr Ford eyeing up possible Championship clubs to develop as Poole2, now that his wings seem to have been clipped a bit?

Watt, Batch, Schlein, Holder, Branford, Bewley, 2 Pointer (Perks?) would come in under 40.

1. Chris Harris 9.21

2. Rory Schlein 7.17

3. Dave Watt 7.56

4. Troy Batchelor 7.36

5. Kenneth Bjerre 8.22

6. Nikolai Klindt 5.42

7. Josh Bates 5.02

Throw in Adam Ellis if he ends up on his 4.67 average.

This cost cutting exercise the BSPA continue to embark on is going to cost them a fortune as riders like Batchelor and Klindt on low averages, will be able to demand what they want!

Being realistic... Because Woffinden, the GP divas and no Pole of a decent standard will be plying their trade in the 'Premiership'.

Lindgren 10.09

Klindt 5.42

Lambert 8.3

Milik 7.94

Harris 9.27

Clegg 3.6

Huckenbeck 5.11

Remaining points limit 0.268

Klindt is on an insane PL average so no brainer. Harris & Lindgren are proven Elite League Performers at most tracks. Lets face it the Poles are gonna hate Rye House! Milik, Clegg & Lambert are the obvious improvers that win the league for the team. I went for Huckenbeck just because of his average as I was 0.08 out of fitting Josh Bates in.

Assuming Milik is unavailable. Which seems likely.

Lindgren 10.09

Bates 5.46

Lambert 8.3

Harris 9.27

Clegg 3.6

Klindt 5.42

Remaining points limit 7.858

Could I have Ļebedevs on an assessed average of 7.5, if not I'd take Ricky Wells.

The problem now is going to be if more riders can double up, will there now be even more fixture clashes.

Any idea if the 2 DU riders per team still applies and does it include reserves?

Who knows? Given that even Chris Harris was suggesting he'd like to double-up and he could potentially be a Premiership #1, there is a very real possibility that a full Premiership team could want to double-up.

Of course, fixed race nights would help alleviate clashes, but this doesn't seem to have been discussed at the AGM.

That's potentially could be one of the problems and in a promotion relegation play off at the end of the year.

With the extra PL meetings I can see d/u s being a big problem due to more clashes of meetings

Mike Bowden says it will be max 2 per club. Doesn't say if this is Premiership or Championship club though.

Either way, this will make team building very interesting, as most "loyal" riders are likely to want to ride in both leagues. I predict a LOT of foreigners in the Premiership this year making up the numbers.
