Somerset 2017

They have got as good a chance as any other pair, but if the points are 4320 Jason will need to learn to look behind him and team ride.

Yes not as good a team rider as fellow Aussie Leigh Adams, who led the Robins to two successive superb Pairs titles in 2004/5, with Charlie Gjedde and the late Lee Richardson.

Missing a trick as Kennett is brilliant around the OTA.

I always thought he was pretty garbage at the OTA, although it should suit him. I seem to recall him saying himself before he can't get his head around the place.

He's probably just too quick!

Nick Morris although he spent a few seasons riding for us still never got to grips with the track completely, so I wouldn't expect miracles from him.

Last time he rode he scored 14 for Rye House.

Also looking at the picture on Facebook the lineup is

1. Tungate

2. Starke

3. Wright

4. Hougaard

5. Grajczonek

6. Allen

7. Graversen

Thought they may have gone with Hougaard at 5 to add more strength in heat 13. Also like the look of the race suits.

Knowing Garry bet the away riding order will be different.

What is the format for this meeting, two groups of four, with SF and final ?

As there are no replies to this post, am I to assume then, that non of you very knowledgeable speedway folks know what the format of the Premiership Pairs meeting will be ?

Your original assumption is correct.

Two Groups of 4 = 12 Heats

Winner A v 2nd B

Winner B v 2nd A

S/F Winners to Final.

4,3,2,0. Scoring in all heats.

15 Races in all.

It was rained off. Not sure if any got any track time tho.

I think they got some in as that is what the social media says. They didn't finish, might have been the practice laps they had.

Anyway great move by the promotion to refund the Coventry matches to the season ticket holders and credit to the fans who refused and gave the money to the club to help Jake and Hougaard with tyres. Rebels fans are great.

Yes, they got some laps in earlier until the track was too wet. :t:

Maybe Garry May wants to keep the successful Josh and Jake partnership together. Certainly seemed to know where each other were last year.

moreover, the Wright/Starke partnership has been severed, which in my opinion is the right decision too.
