royal
It makes us stronger away, and at reserve. Gutted for Ellis, he is one of the finds of the season, and now a victim of the crazy rules that punish success. Onwards and upwards though. Al Stewart
You'll have to learn to spell Sedgmen.
Ben91
It makes us stronger away because Eddie has been atrocious away from home. Robbo to reserve is good also. However it makes us weaker at home. Eddie's a very good rider at Rye and I have my reservations about whether Barker and Sedgmen can match the points of Eddie and Ellis at Rye House. It's better to win every week at home and not pick any points away than pick the odd point away but be in more danger of getting turned over at home and I think that's what will happen now. westhamboy66
And they moaned about Len Silver at least he knew what speedway was about. Barker paired with Harris as they are good mates...Barker gives 150%.... two stupid statements. Pig headed promotion who know nowt. Wanted top flight speedway and didn't understand what they were opting for. Two home meetings in nearly two months in a season that will barely extend past August. We tried to sign GP riders well there are only three riding in Britain at the moment get the message? Get rid of Perks the only highlight. Well he gave 100% (150% doesn't exist fool) We are left with one reserve who constantly gives up after three laps Tossers
Brian
Harris at 1, Barker at 2 so presume Sedgmen comes in at 3. Feel for Kennett and Perks. Perks showed great improvement but for Kennett it was that under 4 away average which was the problem. Edited June 30, 2017 by Brian

But the only way we would get near the playoffs was by winning every week at home and hoping for the odd point on our travels, lets see how it goes but i think Wolves will teach us a lesson and lets see if we take anything from the next two away meetings. Got rid of the wrong reserve. It may be a numbers game but sometimes they get carried away with it. It makes us stronger away, and at reserve. It's a gamble and I'll give the promotion that, however it doesn't look inspiring on the face of things. Pairing Barker with Harris looks like a foolish move as far as I'm concerned. Two racers together could cause each other grief. I'd line up: 1. Harris 2. Sedgmen 3. Barker 4. Wells 5. Nicholls 6. Branford 7. Robbo
Starman2006
He won't be signing for rye house no. But he won't ever ride for Poole again. Trust me Not unless he gets what he wants. And i doubt that will happen..
hackneyrocket
Kennett I can understand never going to be a number 1 in the premiership! I'm gutted for Ellis been superb this season. Maybe Ben and Justin will give us the push we need to reach the play offs

Steve0
So both teams that came up to the Premiership this season have jettisoned their number 1s who served them so well in the lower league but clearly not number 1s in this league.

scaramanga
Kennett may have served them well in the past but last week he went longtracking rather than riding for them. was it a rearranged fixture or a programed 1 from start off season if programed then hell be on a 28 day holiday i would guess
GWC
was it a rearranged fixture or a programed 1 from start off season if programed then hell be on a 28 day holiday i would guess I thought it was BV who rearranged the match with Rye's blessing. Chris
Barker & Sedgman? Christ, wasn't really worth it. Barker a brainless nob & Sedgman a gating tart. Doesn't really do anything to improve the side. Harris & Barker being paired shows how stupid schroeck is, they both want to ride the same part of the track. Was it worth sacking a rider who has been very loyal to the club over many years(last week not acceptable) & a young rider who the club should be wanting to use for years to come? Wells, Branford & a veteran Robbo should have been the ones at the front to be released. Promotion have had a nightmare. They have tried bless them, but fkd up badly. They are too naive in the goings on in the sport.
Rayleigh
Kennett had to go, really tough on Perks though lets hope their is a plan to bring him back soonest. We just didn't have a true number 1 this season, look how Cook finished the match at Poole in Heats 13 & 15 so the only way this team can improve is to have an all round scorecard with a trump at Reserve (Robbo) and the changes albeit risky do have a chance to work. We were going nowhere, so at least the promoters have tried something. Back to Perks, many thanks for your efforts young ma, you have been THE bright light this season and hope you will be back soon.
