Rye House 2017

Recommended Posts

He didn't ride for Coventry Storm very long. Good signing though and and an Aussie, you can't have enough Australians in your team!

Don't think any Swindon fan would agree with that after last season.

Very early days with a number of teams not signed riders up yet but Rye House are definately setting the level along with Wolves and Swindon.

The Wolves top 3 of Lindgren, Thorsell and Masters looks likely to be the best top 3 in the league. If they get Klindt as a second string and Clegg at reserve it looks a good side, and Swindon with the powerhouse scoring of Doyle also look good

Swindon?.

Really?

We have 3.05 which makes me wonder if we had the 1-6 pencilled in before the AGM and we are just getting a 2 pointer as other than two pointers, only the guys on a flat three fit.

Bukhave Jacob Redcar 3.00

Castagna Michele Ipswich 3.00

Etheridge Jye Edinburgh/Redcar 3.00

Holub Zdenek Scunthorpe/Peterborough 3.00

Stachrya Dawid Berwick 3.00 (

Con Bailey Josh Scunthorpe 3.00

Greaves Nathan Sheffield 3.00

Greenwood Oliver Ipswich 3.00

Halsey Dan Peterborough 3.00

Hume Danyon Ipswich 3.00

Payne Lee Redcar 3.00

Perks Ellis Plymouth 3.00

Phillips Danny Newcastle 3.00

Ritchings Darryl Ipswich 3.00

Out of that list I would prefer

Zach,Ellis or Danyon in that order. If we went down the 2pt pointer route . Jack Parkinson Blackburn or Jack Smith seem to be the only 2 worth looking at.

Certainly the only 2pter I'd have wanted is Shanes (gone now) & JPB. Obviously I can't see Zach not being part of Somerset next year. So certainly for me it's between, Danyon, Ellis, JPB and Castagna (purely because it'd remind me of watching his dad when I was a mere kid!)

Zach and Hume and certainly JPB are all better riders than Shanes.

Pretty sure all those 3s are assessed. If they averaged under 3 I think you get their actual average, down to a minimum 2.

That said, it's probably irrelevant as they all fit your remaining points

Not that much difference personally , Shanes is 2nd in average of those 4.

Having watched the Birmingham team all season at this stage I'd personally put Shanes at the top of those at this stage of their careers.

Zack was nowhere near as effective as 2015 whilst Shanes added nearly a point.

If I was to put them in order of who I'd want at my top flight club as a 2 pointer for potential I'd go with.

JPB

Jack Smith

Shanes

Hume

Zack
