tocha
Their suggestion that they have 4 captains in the side may be likely that Kennet may be some where else,as he surely would maintain the captaincy if in the team ,,Anyway we will know in the morning .......... Figure of speech I believe.
Vincent Vega
Stuart Robson will be out of his depth in the top flight. Poor signing like Watt. If Rye dont make changes mid season the wooden spoon beckons with this team.

You not seen the Swindon team as without changes we could become the only team ever relegated 2 times.
Panthers89
Cant talk about a team being a wooden spoonist when Leicester is still in the Elite League.

BurntFaceMan
I don't get all the negativity here, looks like a pretty damn good team in my opinion.
royal
Me too. More than happy so far. For me, Robbo was the rider of the year last season, and I am more than pleased that he has been included. There is a reason that he was one of the most popular guests in the league, you always get 100% from him. Many people seem to be forgetting that the new format is Premier League plus, and there is no reason why he shouldnt do well.

Just waiting to see one or two more riders but I agree with you, a decent line up so far.

tocha
Personally think that the announcements just got the new signings out of the way first and rightly so, don't think it's being done in average order. I want us to sign Eddie again, I wanted us to sign Robbo again too but if they were the first two names announced it would have killed the buzz around the drip feeding of names. We got our two big names in first, people are hooked by the release of names each morning. Watt's signing looks better knowing he is going to be at least third, probably fourth in the averages. Should tomorrow's name be Kennett it is, as I've said above the icing on the cake and completes an impressive top five. If indeed there is to be icing on the cake we may have to wait until Sunday. However, if Rob Branford is announced tomorrow it will be on the right lines though.

Kennett would be the icing on the cake as far as the top five goes.
Mark
Bar the odd GP star every team will look like a good 2016 Championship side. Holder already out the plans for Poole, Zagar unlikely to be back. Â If Bomber and Scott had ridden in the 2016 Championship they would have done very well against that level of opposition. They may not consistently beat GP riders but will beat anyone else regularly so you have the making of a decent team at Rye. Nicholls is a quality rider at the small technical tracks.. romans lovechild
Could be a rider coming out of retirement i reckon  my dad says he has had offers but wont say which club, and the age range fits.
Col
I can understand the negativity. When Rye signed Nicholls & Harris, it seemed to be OK, but then Watt & Robson followed. I love watching Robson, great racer but is there any scope for improvement? Nicholls & Harris may improve a bit having a home track that suits them better. And they will make you competitive at least. I don't see many heat wins coming from that team at crucial times. Â Can see this team doing OK until heat 13, then the 13-5 bomb drops. Can you win a meeting before heat 13. Yes you can. That seems to be the challenge.
Pirate Baz
If Kennett is announced this morning it looks a decent 1-5 in this diluted league. Problem could be the two 3 point reserves.
damosuzuki
I think that looks more than a decent side so far. Who are the Heatleaders who are going to knock them out in the last 3 heats other than Doyle? All I see on the Premiership forum is talk of diluted league, no Holder etc etc. Looks like Rye have bit the bullet with the 1.4 multiplier and clearly feel for these two it's worth it. Â I can only see that being a bad thing if foreign riders start coming in on artificially low averages.

People harping on about heats 13 & 15 tend to overlook there are many heats where they'll come up against lesser riders. The likes of Doyle can only have 5 rides maximum. Even if he wins every race, it doesn't guarantee his team mates will be able to back him up
