blueherb777
That is a bucketful of experience so far in the Rockets line-up. I would expect youth to complete team ? Â
iand
Branford and someone like JPB would be ok I think Thought i read a while back that Chris Harris had taken one of the youngsters under his wing. Was that JPB ?
Ben91
I wonder how the relationship is between the promotion and Nicolai Klindt after he signed for the Rockets for 2016 and then pulled out to take an opportunity with Leicester in the EL. Could see something along the lines of  1. Kennett 2. Robson 3. Harris 4. Watt 5. Nicholls 6. 2 pointer (Hume/Bacon/JPB/Smith) 7. Klindt  While not amazing at reserve it certainly wouldn't be the weakest reserve pairing I reckon. Negatives of Klindt are that he seems to be a gater but he was Leicester's number one in the EL and knows the tracks we'll be visiting well. I'd like to see Rob Branford back but he'd leave us having to find a decent three pointer, tbh there aren't any out there so we may as well go with a two pointer and a rider like Klindt in the last slot. Sings4Speedway
Is that Tony Atkins van i saw outside rye house last week?  I think so. He was discussing whether his reserve partner would be Lanham or Jon Armstrong  On a slightly serious note how about; 1. Kennett 2. Robson 3. Harris 4. Watt 5. Nicholls 6. Branford 7. Ayres

therefused
Andrew Silver would fit in nicely with this lot.
Sings4Speedway
Good point mentioned on another thread. Is the limit of doubling up riders still in place? Kennett will want 2 leagues, Harris has made no secret he wants a Championship place and it certainly wouldn't surprise me if Nicholls, Watt and certainly Robson want to do both leagues this year? If the 2 double up riders rule is still in place it could take Kennett out of the equation? Im guessing with the others its first signed for a Championship team get to do both leagues and the rest have to lump it?
LisaColette
I'd be surprised if Rye didn't have Kennett. Thought he'd be the first name on the team sheet tbh. But if you want to send him to Poole that's fine by me!
Ben91
Personally think that the announcements just got the new signings out of the way first and rightly so, don't think it's being done in average order. I want us to sign Eddie again, I wanted us to sign Robbo again too but if they were the first two names announced it would have killed the buzz around the drip feeding of names. We got our two big names in first, people are hooked by the release of names each morning. Watt's signing looks better knowing he is going to be at least third, probably fourth in the averages. Should tomorrow's name be Kennett it is, as I've said above the icing on the cake and completes an impressive top five.

SPEEDY69
All teams will be a bit weaker next season and I like the fact they're using British based riders so far. The only slight concern is that they could be very up and down rather than consistent - some big wins and losses. I also hope Watt improves on the last few years where he's looked very disinterested when behind.

Either way I am quite looking forward to popping over to Hoddesdon next season. I met with Steve Jenson earlier this year on a work matter and I've got to say his enthusiasm for Speedway is huge.
waco
Their suggestion that they have 4 captains in the side may be likely that Kennet may be some where else,as he surely would maintain the captaincy if in the team ,,Anyway we will know in the morning ..........
