hammer1969
Rye have just published the fixtures list on the their website. I was under the impression they were going to keep to Saturdays for the majority of meetings but without listing them here it would seem that during August out of 5 home meetings only 1 of them is on a Saturday, 1 is Bank holiday Monday and the other 3 are on Wednesdays and what looks like it may be the last home meeting of the season is on 6th September which is also a Wednesday (play offs obviously may come into it at a later date). Bearing in mind we don't have what I would class as 'local derbys' anymore I wonder what size the crowd will be during August on Wednesday nights seeing as many people work during the week, the teams we are racing against are not local and it is also the school holidays! Â The fixture list generally gets changed throughout the season anyway due to weather, rider unavailability etc. and now that we're in the top league Sky will play a part too, especially if we are doing well. There are two GP Saturdays in August and Rye have said from the outset they would not clash. Also, the first Wednesday fixture in August is v Leicester who would have priority for Saturday. Interesting to note there is no home fixture on Spring Bank Holiday with Rye being at Leicester instead. There is an error as well. 20th May is v Somerset not Swindon. hammer1969
Thanks for the explanation re Saturday racing. I read we are also hosting the Premier League pairs which they were hoping would be in April but I cannot see that listed, anyone know if are we still having this meeting, I see May 29th is reserved so could be that date. Another question - I know some of our riders compete in leagues abroad who gets priority over them if there are fixture clashes?

Well, POLAND gets 1st Priority, POLAND gets 2nd Priority, POLAND gets 3rd Priority, SWEDEN gets 4th Priority, DENMARK gets 5th Priority, LATVIA gets 6th Priority, RUSSIA/ARGENTINA gets 7th Priority, and UNITED KINGDOM gets 8th Priority..  Unless there's rain-offs, then POLAND gets Re-Staging Priority!!!
hammer1969
Well that's cleared that up then. Better check whether we have a team before I set out round the M25 traffic jam for a meeting !
EIS002
Â Roughly translated it means William L Cockhead doesn't work for BMR! In simple terms, embarasing ones!! Pay your riders from 2016 before 2017 season starts🤡🤡 It's very simple!!!! Pay up!!

The 20th May fixture has been corrected but now Rye are a home league match short against Swindon. This was originally to be 6th May but has now not only disappeared from their list but Swindon's as well! Still on the BSPA list though. KIRKYLANE
Rye look to have a strong 1-7... strongest team so far  Only Belle Vue can possibly be stronger in my opinion... dependant on out named 1-7 which we do not know yet.

Fred5
Did not realise that their were problems with paying the riders last year at RH. This should not be allowed to happen.
ProudtobeaBrummie
You could swap Branford with Josh Bates that would strengthen you greatly
Pipeslice
You could swap Branford with Josh Bates that would strengthen you greatly I personally think that Bradford will surprise quite a few people this year.so for me I'm quite happy with this team..☺

Bandits4eva
Only if they pay up what they owe to riders from 2016 Robbo, Eddie and Branford have went back. Morley not included, Lanham retired, Kasper not in Britain and Heeps back with Ipswich. Who was owed the money? Or are you on about guest riders?
