Starman2006
Watt is a terrible signing. He was useless for Poole who got shot of him to Leicester where he was even worse. Rye will get rid by the time Wimbledon starts at the end of June you mark my words. Give the bloke a chance Eh..
Shadders
Watt likely to be the 4th average rider, not competing for a heat leader place, so less pressure on him. If his heads on he could be the trump card.
Pipeslice
With all these exciting new signings I'm a bit scared there gonna replace CRAIG SAUL with someone a bit excitable like Chris Evans. Don't care who they sign next as long as Craig is still at the Mic all is well 😤

Craig Saul does a great job and a nice bloke to boot Edited November 16, 2016 by Shads

JmeRay
Chris Evans would put many off going. Craig Saul does a great job and a nice bloke to boot Could do with cloning Craig so he can do the announcing from the box & interviews in the pits during the meetings.
barraider
No Imo i think eddie is def in the team, if he is i would think possibly we could push for a playoff place. If we stay injury free, we could certainly mix it up a bit
ruckerroo
An adam shields type signing, someone who went sour with speedway and is having another go, might work, probably wont tho

To put it into perspective, Leigh Lanham was our fourth averaged rider at the start of last season
Vincent Vega
Shads Might pop along for the odd meeting or two. Will give the NL a go at Purfleet first though. All the best for the move up North. Hopefully Bridger will provide some good racing up at Berwick. VV

Pirates Of Poole
Well according to this weeks star, Stuart Robson is in the side too.
waiheke1
Well according to this weeks star, Stuart Robson is in the side too.Robson would be the first poor signing imo, could see him dropping 3 points off that average. Paddy The Rebel
Agree there but ull hav a lot of riders dropping pts off there averages. Edited November 17, 2016 by PTW
waiheke1
Agree there but ull hav a lot of riders dropping pts off there averages.Absolutely. But I think Robbie falls into one of the two categories of riders likely to drop the highest percentage. Those with pl averages in the 8s who are really a top flight 2nd string at best, and edr from last year who averaged under 3 in the el (despite two reserve heats) but are coming in on 5+ point pl averages. We have to remember it isn't going to be anything like the EL though. Rye will be an exception, not a rule by putting out a top five that could have been seen in the EL in recent times. Most clubs won't be tracking more than one, or two at a push, riders that rode EL only last year I'd imagine. It is going to be PL standard riders, against whom Robbo managed to average seven points across the season last year. If a seven pointer (Robbo/Schlein/Jorgensen) along with Kennett complete our top five then we're going to be seriously short of points at reserve and then end up tracking a similar pair of reserves to those that have been riding EDRs the last few years, if not weaker. The 50 point limit means most riders will drop their averages, the teams that do well will, rather than increasing total team average, probably remain around the 50 point total. At least an away win a Brandon may be a possibility !! ......... 5 former Bees rumoured to be in the final Rockets line up ..
