Col
And Peterborough in 2013 (Although I'm sure that was before he rode for the Bees that year) I'd forget Sundstrom because if I were a Rye fan, I'd want something like this: 1. Edward Kennett 9.27 2. Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen 6.50 3. Scott Nicholls 9.23 4. Stuart Robson 7.09 5. Chris Harris 9.21 6. Robert Branford 4.60 7. Ben Morley 3.85 Total 49.75 Very British, very good at Rye and very good In the Elite League sorry Premiership, in my opinion that team will get massacred at reserve. The Harris, Nicholls, Kennett & NBJ quartet will be competitive, I'm fairly convinced that your heat 13 & 15 outings will be a 3-3 at best though. Branford at reserve is decent prospect, take him. What would Sundstrom be, average wise. If Rye include Heeps, Kennett & Branford my calculations suggest they have 6.11 to play with. Does Sindstrom fit? Kennett 9.27 Harris 9.22 NBJ 6.50 Nicholls 9.23 Heeps 5.07 Branford 4.6 6.11 for final rider Edited November 16, 2016 by Col
waiheke1
Bramford and morley could be ok at reserve, I expect many sides will have a 2 or 3 pointer in there. Watt would be a much better option than Robson imo.

That would surely only be 1 point? Are u saying they are not stronger than riders on 2/3 point averages?
Ben91
Fine you guys have Robson, he did not even make a decent PL rider last season. Newman vs Robson, Cheers thanks for coming RYE. Back under your bridge, Robson averaged almost a point more than Newman last season. Why? Davey has always been a small track specialists. I think Davey would do a good job for you guys. People forget we have had Davey Watt ride for us before I think. Sometimes from the outside he seems to have meetings where he just can't be bothered, Robbo on the other hand is a true team man. I'm not against us signing Watt btw, just trying to put some perspective on why people aren't going wild over him potentially signing.

Newman vs Robson, Cheers thanks for coming RYE. You do realise that Robson has a higher average than Newman because Kyle struggles at some PL tracks and that's why he's only a 6 average. If Robbo didn't make a decent PL rider then Newman must have been a dreadful one Edited November 16, 2016 by mdmc82

Have a little look at last seasons premier league stats.............if Robson isnt a decent premier league rider then Kyle Newman must be absolutely shocking! Guest
RYE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE:: :::::::: THE THIRD SIGNING: WATT A CAPTURE! Australian star Davey Watt has become the latest rider to sign for the new-look BMR Rockets – over a decade on from his previous spot at the club in 2004. The highly popular stalwart from Townsville in Victoria State returns to Rye House following subsequent associations with Eastbourne (three years), Lakeside (also three) and Poole, where seven seasons have roped in no less than five Elite League championships. The Aussie has also collected three World Cup Silver and one Bronze medal during his career. He arrives in Hertfordshire with a 5.40 average – which converts to a handy 7.56 – more than determined to rebound from a 2016 campaign that was affected by off-track matters but which now leaves him with what looks like a clearly understated average. Rye House Co-Promoter Steve Jenson sets the scene on Watts return to Hoddesdon, saying that “Davey actually came to us during this last season asking if we could help him get a Premier League place. That didn’t prove possible, but he also wanted to be part of Team BMR for 2017 regardless of what League we were in. “He’s such a long established rider in this country – we’re talking fifteen years now – and he’s become a permanent resident, which effectively makes him an honourary Brit and ideal for the Team spirit we want to build in 2017. “He is also absolutely determined to get back to where he should be. We believe he’s on a false average and is going to push the rest of the top-end to give us another potential No.1. “His reputation as a Team man goes before him, too. He’s another captain in our side, and he is definitely a rider who is worth much more than just the points he scores on the track.” The man himself adds, “It feels great to be back in the Rockets’ line-up, and I couldn’t be happier with the way Steve and the club are approaching next season. “There’s so much I’m looking forward to as well. The Team is fantastic, and the plans for the winter at the stadium look amazing. It’s truly refreshing to have people this passionate about the future leading the Team. “I’ve got some friends joining me in the side as well, so that’s brilliant news for Team spirit and I’m already keen for it to all start. “I think the Team will be a fans’ favourite and definitely score some points at home and on the road! “I’m in Australia now, practicing and testing, and am loving being on a bike. It all looks rosy for the new season and I can’t wait!”

Grachan
Not so convinced by the signing of Watt - although he should be capable enough at this level. Does this rule out Eddie Kennett?

No, it doesn't. They could have Eddie and NBJ, a good reserve & a 2 pointer.
speedibee
Davey Watt instead of Robson. Watt is a better rider and has always been and has sorted out his problems and will be a good rider for you. First year in the Premiership/ EL experience is better than youth. I mean at Poole we can have youth it's what we do in reality take good riders make them slightly better send them off to Poland win some championships along the way. AND I KNOW BRITISH SPEEDWAY WILL CHANGE A LOT IN COMING YEARS, BUT RYE HOUSE YOU ARE A THREAT TO THE POWER HOUSE TRIO OF POOLE, SWINDON AND WOLVES. You have the potential to be great in this league. Lakeside were just getting there and have gone back to square well not even a square. From the Poole fan, COME ON RYE. Davey Watt instead of Robson. Yes lets give a useless Aussie a team place , and leave a British rider on the sidelines take his place in the dole queue . Only a Poole fan would make such a suggestion

LisaColette
Watt should do fine as second string. As for choosing him over a brit, maybe Robbo going to Coventry?!
tocha
Not so convinced by the signing of Watt - although he should be capable enough at this level. Does this rule out Eddie Kennett? Absolutely not. Sounds like they are announcing the new signings first. Watt should do fine as second string. As for choosing him over a brit, maybe Robbo going to Coventry?! There is no reason to suggest he has replaced Robbo as he can still be included. Looking at today's press release it seems Rye House are going for a virtual all British team. Kennett, Nicholls, Harris, Watt, Robson and Branford would leave just enough points for young Lakeside asset, Zach Waijknecht.

Only a Poole fan would make such a suggestion Actually, Watt counts as a British rider. So technically you have three British riders first. If you want to win the league don't sign loads of British riders. How do Poole and Wolves and Swindon win titles with non British riders. There is not enough good ones. Just accept it.
