waiheke1
Ellis better than Starke imo and far more potential for improvement. Ellis on a 7.8 or starke on a 6.6 is a tough call and would depend on what you could use the extra point on. That to me indicates Ellis average is about right.

Starke for me would be great value if the pirates got him back certainly on that average.People forget Starke had a decent year in a real struggling team and the moral there could not of been high were certain riders there still owed money.? waiheke1
Agree he had a good season and would be a decent signing. But feel the likes of Newman rose and Ellis offer better value on their respective averages.

Reliant Robin
Someone mentioned it was only two riders, which is not good as last year we had 4 which included the two EDR riders. No doubt we might want a low averaged reserve this year as well, and other riders in the team want more rides . If allowed all our 2 - 7 would have wanted to have doubled up last year. I think the limit of 2 is FROM any one Club.....ie Swindon wouldn't have been able to use Tungate, Grajczonek & Wright all from Somerset for the 2016 season
SteveLyric2
Can't find anywhere that officially states a team can only have a max of 2 double-uppers?! Can anyone point me in the right direction for the official confirmation.

waiheke1
Nothing to do with ford. many non poole posters queried the 9+ average and srated it was in correct. SCB is hardly a poole fan, bit he knows his facts and is capable of being very objective, and he has consistently stated kurtz should be on the 7.6 figure.
HAMMER180
looks like most of the so called big guns will not be in Britain next season most have already signed for Poland Sweden and Denmark so unless they do an f off to the poles new rule then we wont be seeing them. not a bad thing in imo as it gives the young and not so young brits a chance in our leagues and it might take a few years but can only be beneficial for british speedway as it will give our real young academy boys to shine.
