poolebolton
With the AGM starting on Monday just some of my thoughts for riders who will be in high demand(just top 5 riders). Would love an PL expert to way in for this.I will also put the top three most likely clubs in order.(1 being most likely, 3 being least) 1. Chris Harris(6.58)= Most consistent name in the Elite League ever?? Is the second biggest British rider in the world in terms of following. Gives 100% all the time and just all round great club man. Will be a solid 3rd heat leader this year. 1. Wolves 2. Poole 3. King's Lynn 2. Scott Nicholls(6.59)= Older version of Chris Harris, but still great EL rider. Has not been his best at NSS and was BV weak link this year. Will once again be great second string. 1. Lakeside 2. Coventry 3. Any new EL team 3. Adam Ellis(5.60)= Made great progress is actually the second best u21 British rider. Bates vs Ellis over a season we all know who won. Loves Poole and was great this year, I think we will struggle to fit him in though. Will be a very sought after rider next year and should do three leagues. Apart from Kyle could be one of Poole's only British assets ever!!!!! 1. Lakeside 2.Poole 3. Kings Lynn 4. Michael Jepsen Jensen(6.54)= Has not ridden for a while in the UK. Former GP rider who has struggled in the past couple of years. Did look good in the previous GP's and has expressed a interest to ride here on SGP website. Could very much improve on the average and could be a great 3rd heat leader due to low average. Personally if he does want to ride here, will be the most sought after rider due to his history and his large potential. 1. Belle Vue 2. Coventry 3. Swindon 5. Andreas Jonsson(8.45)= Here me out, sorry Lakeside fans.Seemed to fall out with the Lakeside management. Has not got the GP's anymore and there will be lots of teams looking for number 1. Poole tried to sign him for the 2016 season can not see that happening but is a constant performer without him Lakeside not the same team. As a Coventry asset can see him moving away this year. 1. Coventry 2. Belle Vue 3. Glasgow if they come up. If not Lakeside. Food for thought riders= Peter Kildemand and Brady Kurtz ????
Joe Beevers
I already did a thread like this about two weeks ago called The Most Wanted List. Peter Kildemand is an interesting one as not sure what average he would come into the league on.

Killer comes in on 7.10 which is a good low average for that quality.
The Voice Of Reason
5. Andreas Jonsson(8.45)= Here me out, sorry Lakeside fans.Seemed to fall out with the Lakeside management. Wouldn't be the first rider to fall out with Stardartenfuhrer Cook, would he. Edited October 30, 2016 by The Voice Of Reason

Been a massive fan of Ellis for a few years now, it was said that Rosco was inches away from getting him last year, if the Pirates can't fit him in do you see him heading Swindon's way ? Kurtz should do a bit of PL in 2017 I think.
liam
After seeing Ellis ride Lakeside last season I would love to see him back, think he hates the place so it would be a surprise to see him back though.

Daniel Smith
Any Danes that ride in the Ekstraliga will be the least demanded riders. They're only allowed to race two other leagues including their own Danish league. There's absolutely no way they'll pick Elite League over Elitserien

There's absolutely no way they'll pick Elite League over Elitserien if not hold my breath on that one can't see how Poland can stop riders from earning money - I think it's more aimed at stopping Polish riders doing all the leagues than Danish riders . INCOGNITO
Unlikely to see any foreign riders over a seven average next season apart from Sam Masters and GP riders look like being left out as they ride Sweden, Poland and GPs and Britain need more committed and available riders to get Britain less trapped by what's happening elsewhere. Most attractive riders will be those that have been here before, not done great but looking for a regular team place like Adam Skornicki, Tobiasz Musielak etc
Agrotron
Think Batchelors average will wet the appetite of some promoters.

Gavan
Chris Harris will be in huge demand as a good solid heat leader for someone. Ellis is stuck in limbo for me on 5.60. Poole would want him back but its clear with that average he will be a second string and is hat to much of a gamble especially away from home. His last 5 scores from second string at home were 7+2 , 3+1, 11+1, 8+1 and 8+1 so certainly at home he would be good value for 5.60 from the number 2 spot. Scott Nicholls would be a good signing for Wolves as well. MJJ i doubt we will see over here Jonsson i cant see going anywhere else And how you think Kurtz is good value on his average surprises me. Gavan
I never said Kurtz was good value, I just that he will be in- demand. Surely to be in demand you have to be on an average that is deemed good value? Nicholls, Harris and dare i say it Batchelor are all on what may be seen as good value averages. Kurtz isnt and may find it difficult to get a team place in the Elite league. Think Poole would rather have Ellis at number 2 on 5.60 then Kurtz on 6.44
Crazy robin
Couldn't agree more. If we sign Kurtz then we can forget about winning the EL in 2017. No value in his average. No chance of improving his average either. What a load of tosh as he would've now got experience on all the Elite league tracks & will improve for sure. He will be in high demand for sure if Poole don't use him.

Not sure as i think on 6.44 he could almost be a third heat leader, and for a rider that dropped to the reserve berth and still didnt do that well, then i think his average of 6.44 makes him hard to place
mrss
Robert Lambert must be a rider tha most promoters would want . I hope Kings Lynn can hold on to him as watching him this season was one of the very few highlights of the Stars season.
