Glasgow 2017

I am extremely underwhelmed by the first two signings.

Was always going to be the first 2 on the teamsheet as assets and I am sure Nike will be next.

One thing for certain Richard & Aaron will need to improve there away form next year especially Aaron.

Lawson had to be in on that average.

I'm happy with these two back, the big question is - Is RW coming back?

Lawson

Summers

Worall

Lunna

Bewley

Ayeres

Smith

Agreed. I fully expect/hope that this is the team. Lawson's season average is quite a bit higher than the 8.22 he's been signed on as well.

Thats an understatement. Whoever we sign as No3 in the averages will determine how long our tail will be.

Who's to say the next signing will be no3 in the averages, if it's Worrall he would be 2nd in the averages, agree our tail could be long if we go with 3 biggies, although that depends on who we are after or who we get. Summers finishing top of our averages means he starts at 1 next season, he is our best team rider and pairing him with a rider who has great potential could be the key to our success!

I'd be slightly worried if we started the season with Danny Ayres and a raw novice at reserve , and that looks how it will pan out if we re-sign Richie . However with the league watered down by a further two and a half points , most teams could also be very weak at reserve . I'm just miffed i'll not get my yearly Highbridge pub crawl next season

Great potential is the key. Last year that came from Worrall and Bach who were arguably our best and most consistent pairing, and offered good value on their starting averages.

Aaron prefers not to ride in heat one, whereas Richard does.

Still have the Pairs. I actually like that meeting better than the GP.

Danny has room for improvement if he can settle down and stop going for the big blast around the boards causing him to make mistakes, he can gate and he was very good at certain away tracks, Ipswich and Newcastle in KO cup, he was seeing these tracks for the first time and he was only 1 of 5 who managed to raise their average. Of the others who increased their average they had previous PL experience, such as Liam Carr and Tom Perry etc. So considering his inexperience Danny has done well and should be given another chance

You're not saying he deliberately dropped his average towards the end of the season are you?

:nono::nono:

A bit difficult as only the KO cup matches count in October (+ Edinburgh league fixture). Playoff and League cup final don't count to the greensheets. season average will include bonus points , greensheet average doesn't. Everybody's actual average is higher than greensheet ones.

Don't think KO Cup matches count to rolling averages.
