Paulco
Can't understand some Glasgow fans. The team had to be broken up. Lawson had an excellent season hampered by bike issues near the end hence is artificially low green sheet average. Aaron had some bad crashes in el but finished season well. If the team is as listed above I'll be happy No matter what we do , you cant please everybody . We all have our favourite riders and who we would like to have , but that is seldom achievable . Both Aaron and Richard are club assets , so were always going to be the first two offered deals to come back . I have no issue with either of them returning , though as has been said previously , their consistency away from Ashfield has room for improvement . Lunna will also no doubt be next on the agenda , but with the league being watered down slightly , if we can capture the signing of Bewley I agree with a previous poster , we have to maximise that capture by starting him at reserve .
barncooseboy
sorry to be referring to an old post, regarding floodlights perhaps someone could mention to the brothers that currently LED floodlights are available from a company online called LE they are offering 240 watt LED lights with 120 degree light pattern equivalent to 600 watt high pressure lights at a touch over £200 however they would reduce electric bill by 2/3 PLUS if new wiring also installed much cheaper cable can be used plus with these unlike high pressure lamps that need 15 minute warm up, LEDs are instant on and should have a 10 to 15 year life frgot to include they are 22,000 lumens per lamp

Do they also do grandstand seat heaters, foolproof car immobilisers, and tractor headlamps ?
Gazc
Well with Lawson & Summers already confirmed I think that will be the end on Richie returning next year. With 2.5 points less to play with having Richie on 8.49 would leave us very weak in the remaining positions so I would suspect we will be looking to a more balanced structure will be interesting to see how Stewart goes with it.
mac101
It's really only 1.5 if your bringing in a 2 pointer pretty sure Richie will be there along with Nike and pretty sure they will put something on there ave along with Arron and Richard who we get to fill the rest of the team will be hard but every team will be in the same boat
Solidmango
Yes, it's only a 1.5 point reduction with most teams likely to field a 2 point reserve @ 7. I reckon it'll be Richie, Nike, Dan Bewley and another. Don't think we will get anymore signings until the 25th at the GTSSG event.

MANSE
I think it will be our top 3 from last year and 4 young riders who will improve their averages from last year

Gazc
Stranger things have happened Absolutely no chance will he ever wear a tigers bib again and to be fair he has done himself no favours looking for a new club now after his manipulation to get back to Edinburgh. Other clubs will be very wary.

KIRKYLANE
Really pleased that Richie W is set for another year at Glasgow...onwards and upwards in 2017. Once again Glasgow have a good top 3 Good luck to Richie in particular and Glasgow Speedway in general for 2017
Gazc
With Richie now back meaning we have used 25.28 points on our top 3 meaning 14.72 for the other 4 think this 3 are nailed on Bewley 3.90 Nike 4.90 Smith 2.00 Leaving 3.92 for the final rider personally I would opt for Tom Perry on 3.76 as we are just 0.08 short on opting for Sissis he would be the more reliable choice rather than Danny Ayres.
