stevec
WHAT A NIGHT!!!! For those Eastie fans that were chanting to us on Sunday, and I quote: - "Who are you, who are you?" Mate, it was about 5 of them, ignore them, I have to every week. When your guys came round the stock car track for laps of honour after a race I clapped them just like most Eagles fans do. As for the result. GUTTED! Its been a long, long wait for the league and I was desperate for us to win it. I guess the one thing I really would have liked is to have had 7 riders on both teams with no guests and yes, that includes the Brummie number one. However, I hate play offs and the right team are lifting the thophy. I just hope plenty of Brummie fans turn up for the KO cup so our idiot fans (all 5 of them) can chant 'who are ya' at them when we win!!
Alex2000
Couldn't have been a worse time for Mr Mole to hand in his resignation as of this time next year... did he think that he could release it on the low down while everyone was celebrating? Unfortunantley yet another club thrown into uncertainty after next season. Although with recent success and decent crowds I'm sure someone will step forward. WembleyLion
Well done Birmingham who thoroughly deserved to win with an excellent team performance! Reading the programme from last night it looks like Graham Drury has gone the whole season believing them to be the youngest team in history of British Speedway! I must admit I thought the David Howe led third tier Peterborough team were a good bit younger! Anyway the Brummies are an excellent team regardless! Yeah, we got a load of verbal abuse from the Eastbourne fans last Sunday, especially in the car park after the match cos they thought we were Brummie supporters and we were neutral anyway.....what plebbs !

Ommer Mon
Warmest congratulations to Tony Mole, Graham Drury, Tom Perry and the rest of the Brummies on their victory. They have been the standout team all season and thoroughlly deserve it. It will be a very sad day when Tony Mole finally hangs up his promoters licence. He has been a real credit to the sport over the last 30 years and has resurrected a few casualties during that time. Even had a dabble with Cradley at one stage before the forces of the dark side (Dudley Council) got the better of him. He really will be missed.
