Heathen1984
Did say having stoneman would cost them and looks to be right, biggest meeting and wood missing as cost them.
ruckerroo
Well done brum, best team all year. A horror story on the managerial front from eagles tonight tbh.
Bagpuss
Well done Brum. Would have been a travesty had they not won.
Ben91
Very odd choice of guest in Stoneman for the Eagles, probably what decided it in the Brummies favour tbh. Good to see the team that finished top win the play-offs. I suspect the Eagles will win the cup still.
uk_martin
Well I didn't see this coming. Best Brummies performance of the year. Happy to add ketchup mustard and mayo on my words and eat them with relish.
gazzac
Best team won on the night and well done, just a shame Eastbourne didn't turn up with a team, disregarding Stoneman were never going to win it with the 2 reserves and r/r . Only wonder was the lack of faith from some Brummie fans, always knew if Brum started as I suggested they would that it would quickly swing back in your favour. solrac
Well done Brummies. Hopefully the Eagles will do the business on Sunday then everyone will be happy.
Reviresco
Congratulations to everyone associated with the Brummies League and Title win; the management, the club officials, the riders, the riders' family and friends and the supporters who I have found to be amongst the friendliest and most knowledgeable in the country. Who says that you can't win anything with kids?
Alex2000
Just proves playoffs are a waste of time. Had we won it would be hollow as we haven't been the best team all year. Stoneman strange guest, shame hopwood was injured.
CUFC_Brummie
Unbelievable, didn't expect that at all! Phenomenal effort from our lads, the result in heat 1 set the tone but we had to maintain it and despite a couple of setbacks we sure as hell did that! Some great racing tonight, top advert for the league. Horrendous timing for that announcement from Tony Mole, but we can reflect on that tomorrow, for now....CHAMPIONS! Hope they review it as I'm sure some clubs will now have a different opinion including Brum having come so close to losing it.
gazzac
I expect we'll win the league next year and lose the playoff then they'll drop it! Make a 'nice' bookend from 2002 ...
stevebrum
Superb comeback from Birmingham and also a total capitulation from the eagles (bar Ellis). Congratulations to the whole of the brummies team and promotion.

Brummie Kev
As nights at Perry Barr go, that has to be the best since 2007. Its justice for what happened in 2013 when we finished top but beaten in the Playoffs by Poole. Im so glad tonight we managed to overturn the 13 points, I honestly wasnt that confident especially as Eastbourne only lost by 6 points 7 days earlier. However we came out on fire and set the tone in the first four heats. I cant fault any of them, they were amazing including guest Mitchell Davey who beat Adam Ellis in heat 1. Just want to say what great support Eastbourne had, loads of fans made the trip and they had their own stand. Felt sorry for them tbh, especially given the distance they come to support their team, great support. The Brummies fans were defo the 8th man tonight, so loud and probably thrbest atmosphere I've heard there for ages if ever. Its nights like this I will remember for a long time to come. Fantastic Brummies!! Edited October 26, 2016 by Brummie Kev
guitar_art
WHAT A NIGHT!!!! For those Eastie fans that were chanting to us on Sunday, and I quote: - "Who are you, who are you?" Well we are the League Champions, thats who. And anyway I have told you before, you are saying it wrong, please get it right. Its "Who are YOW" (With respect to George Gavin.) On another subject. Fed up of play offs?Fed up of the winning team over the regular season not getting any recognition? But there is nothing we can do I here you say.Well maybe, just maybe we can.Tune in tonight at 8 pm if you are curioussports-radio.co.uk Edited October 27, 2016 by guitar_art
Guest GiveusaB
Phenomenal performance.....notably from JPB......he's got some energy to ride as hard as he did throughout the whole evening......Sorry to see a couple of Eastbourne lads take heavy falls.....hope they're not suffering too much ! Was really impressed with the young Tom Brenan (Eastbourne) he needs to sign for a team with a decent track next season, because I believe he will develop a lot further/quicker on a proper race track..... (just my opinion). I think Birmingham would suit him just fine Tony Mole's end of season speech came most definitely at the wrong time......there will be numerous clubs queuing up for our 2 (Union) Jacks !
