Mark
Probably not on a regular basis. Change a few of the more stupid rules and I might attend occasionally ( that's if hubby and daughter can be bothered of course) I bet they would love you to go to speedway but on your own. They can have a night off.
Daniel Smith
They are boosting averages by 1.4 for former Elite riders, so some clubs will quite easily reach 50. Really?!?!? After the 1st set of greensheets you believe some teams would have maintained a 50 average?!?!? WembleyLion
Adam Ellis EL average x 1.4 then if no PL average?
foamfence
Really?!?!? After the 1st set of greensheets you believe some teams would have maintained a 50 average?!?!? No, that's for team building purposes, after they have achieved an average everyone is on the former PL averages. There is a cut-off date for replacements and even if you try to bring any in before that, they'll still be subject to x1.4, unless they already have a PL average. BWitcher
If they haven't solved doubling up, which it appears they haven't then its all pretty pointless. The BIGGEST peeve people have is when riders are missing because they are racing elsewhere. With Somerset and Rye House, both weekend tracks, coming into the top league, this problem may well be worse than ever.
The Little Un
Rider on 8 Elite = 11.2 which is now applied over both leagues. 11.2 is a big chunk from 40 Championship points for a team. Riders like Cook, Nicholls and Bomber should get some good offers. Pleased we are looking after our own for a change. there needs more explanation on riders who DID ride in two leagues but have differing success rates. assume no UK percentage reduction now. I feel sorry for Ipswich fans who bar Peterborough have some long road trips. Northern League is that in all but name . If the statement from the AGM is correct, you are wrong. It does not say the EL will be multiplied by 1.4 but that the EL average will have 1.4 added to it.
Hilly
So when the real averages kick in, what limit do you use for making team changes?
solrac
Is the national league still running as there is no mention of it anywhere? Yes, but that is a separate AGM.

STEPHEN 333
happy days no more ringers being brought in at the end of the season or big fixtures Yes, I agree, Woffy will be a bit upset knowing he's not going to be earning with Wolves next year if things go pear shaped in Poland and Sweden. IronScorpion
Adam Ellis EL average x 1.4 then if no PL average? That's what the rule states. There will be some riders with abnormal averages but Adam was based on doing well as an EDR then holding his own as a heat leader/2nd string. When will the new declared averages start & how will it be implemented. Rolling averages with part 2016 ave x 1.4 +2017 ave or will they get new averages after 4H & 4A meetings. A lot of the 2016 EL riders only will obviously drop their averages leading to teams dropping probably 3 points & re-declare very early. solrac
Overall decent AGM. I'd say. They're looking to phase out double uppers over the course of time according to Twitter. Not all things addressed regarding race nights etc but better than previous years I'd say. Just the NL AGM to go now, a league which is sustainable and going from strength to strength.
The Little Un
Are they allowing doubling/trebling up ? There is already trebling up.

A ORLOV
Unsurprisingly swindon wanted a higher points limit. Try building a team with last years av, plus or mult by 1.4, under 50 points. Edited November 3, 2016 by A ORLOV
MrMungo
With only 10 Championship sides, the biggest downside to me, looks like there'll be a lot of riders without a spot in that league
proud panther
Good luck forcing a team to be promoted. They couldn't get Lakeside to stay in the League, & they finished 4th !!
