Tsunami
General question, is it a set agenda or are motions proposed by the various promoters, or is it a general discussion to begin with. Usually a fixed agenda, with a general meeting on the first morning all EL and PL attending discussing the previous season, agreeing the final green sheets and celebrating the competition winners. In the afternoon the leagues split up to their own meetings and discuss and agree on items which were agreed at the preAGM meeting for endorsement. Same with the second day, but having to come together for joint decisions which affect both leagues, which need to be consistent. Third morning, both together again to discuss new common issues for debate. Any current team, not continuing in 2017 will leave the AGM at lunchtime on the first day, and if you stay after lunch, you are deemed to be running next year. That is the usual format for the AGM and there is no known reason why it won't happen any different this year. The alleged drinking at the bar, and allegedly getting pissed, only happens in others minds on the BSF , and could only start after business for the day has been concluded. it is sometimes long days, and I remember the Honda debate in 1997, for the 1998 season, went on till nearly 10.00pm.
