Alex2000
One rider i would NEVER have in my team is Ellis Perks....has a screw loose somewhere! what you mean he gets pissed off when he does bad in a race? I'd rather that than have a rider who comes last and goes back to the pits giving everyone a high-five. He's someone I want in the team next season. But last year I would never have considered it
Halifaxtiger
Think that side could be near enough right. Really hope we keep hold of Jenkins but I believe he could be Eastbourne bound. I'll be surprised if Jenkins doesn't stay at Mildenhall. I saw him during the Ben Meeting at King's Lynn in March and thought he was the real deal so its little wonder that he's just about the hottest prospect in the NL. Armstrong Bowtell Coles Jack Smith Mountain Hampshire Jenkins. That fits under 40 points. Armstrong - superb leader and captain, never heard a bad word about him and he's had some mechanical issues this season so could get better next. Bowtell - disappointing in 2016, definitely worth a shot on that average as he's a much better rider than that. Coles - started poor but rocketed forwards after a public mouthful from Kevin Jolly. Two points up for the second half of the season, mad to get rid of him. Smith - little chance of him moving but he's way, way better than a 6.00 Mountain - little bit of a gamble following awful injury but Mildenhall's most consistent rider in 2016 and has the potential to be among the best in the league Hampshire/Jenkins - two fantastic young reserves. I haven't put much thought into this but: 1. Mark Baseby 7.90 2. Chris Widman 4.53 3. Nathan Stoneman 7.00 4. Ben Hopwood 6.00 5. Darryl Ritchings 7.04 6. Layne Cupitt 3.18 7. Kelsey Dugard 4.28 Total: 39.93 Baseby, Widman, Dugard & Cupitt to comeback. Good choice in Hopwood - loves the Island and they love him. Leaves about 14 for two others. Cockle might well be one but I'm not a fan because if he doesn't gate he's not interested. Stoneman, on a 7.00, is a major gamble. uk_martin
what you mean he gets pissed off when he does bad in a race? He thinks he can act like Nicki Pedersen when he's only achieved a Nickleodeon.
Ben91
Posted this on the Raiders thread already: 1. Lanham 2. Bowtell3. Cockle/Ritchings4. Hopwood5. D. Greenwood6. 3 pointer7. HunterI think Lanham's days of riding in the PL are over but he's on an attractive NL average and has bags of experience. Bowtell should have stayed this season and hopefully we can tempt him back, the natural progression to the Rockets eventually if he makes the grade should be a selling point. Ritchings/Cockle would be good back up to Lanham. If Ritchings kicks on too there's opportunities with the Rockets to be had. Hopwood, our asset and on a bargain average at this level. Would be ridiculous to let him go elsewhere. Greenwood is known to the promotion after a spell as a Rocket last year, again opportunities for him to stake a claim for a PL place with a good season. One new three pointer is enough as we've found out this season.Hunter has suffered from a stop start season and being in the main team from day one. Get him in at reserve with no pressure on and he'll improve.

waco
Not sure you can ride National with an average over 4 in the premier...Of course thing s can change at the A.G M...
gee jay
I think that might be a little bit of over confidence TBH. do you really think you can carry Cuppit for a whole year and still win the title ? don't think he'd be at 2 after the first averages lawlor and jenkins would be higher by then. gazzac
Does anyone know if there's a final set of green sheet averages to come out, or because of the unfinished fixtures the 27/9 ones will be the last ones issued? Speedway28
Anyone already know who the first Mildenhall rider will be? Due to be announced on Saturday. Going with Coles or Armstrong. Maybe Jenkins at a push.

Sings4Speedway
If you can't beat them, pinch their team? It was more a proposed team for Brum however with that line up i wouldn't be looking forward to their visits to Central Park. That said its not like Brum actually discovered any of the riders anyway or gave any a chance when no others would. They just assemble a team of riders with proven potential and are able to attract them with financial muscle & assistance that other teams cannot / do not provide. It mystifies me why people think we have any more financial clout than the next team - we do have Tony Mole as our owner, who is renowned for being shall we say - frugal (at best)! This is only too true (although your last sentence isn't). It is really annoying to me that Birmingham have not taken any trouble to help new riders or to try to discover new ones (except one who is completely non-talented!).
