SharpenRake
It's all gone Sheffield's way again ! Â Well that didn't last long! what happened to your self-imposed exile from the forum or was that just the Somerset thread
spin king
Well that is advantage back to Scottish Tigers for me. Â Always think that better off know what you are chasing by been away in the first leg. Â But lets be fair the Scottish Tigers should fine this a fairly easy win over two legs against us. MD
Guests bring a lottery element to fixtures as we have found out with Somerset recently. Difficult to call this one. Â With a reasonable forecast for Sheffield on Wednesday night I will be travelling down. Hoping for a decent meeting and a loss of no more than 10.

Paulco
On our way mate, hope the weathers better up there than the fog and rain we've had so far upto Carlisle. No idea how we are going to go today, bit of a bonus meeting for us as we never expected to get past Newcastle, but will hopefully keep it close to make a good second leg. Sorry about how it turned out , but that's what happens in a sport at the mercy of the elements . And as usual as soon as it's called off , it decides to brighten up , but the damage had already been done . But nice to have a blether again mate . MD
Summer sport? We'll still be settling this at Christmas. And the BSPA still wont realise the problem and amend next years calendar to address it.
stewmac
I watched people leaving the stadium in recent weeks , sick fed up watching tractors going round and round . And you really don't want to see fans being so fed up that they'd rather go home .I've read several posts like this in recent weeks regarding the delays due to poor presentation, long delays, kiddies races and endless tractor racing.Perhaps some of the Tiggers fans who slagged off my 1 star review of Glasgow last winter on their FB page (for precisely these reasons - I will repeat that the stadium changes are fabulous) will now accept that I was not making things up, nor was I trying to upset you. I was only stating facts at the time. It seems a good number of Tiggers fans in various threads here are making the exact same points now. yoda
And the BSPA still wont realise the problem and amend next years calendar to address it. I know you think the BSPA would be able to control the weather by now  Perhaps if Glasgow didn't call matches off when riders were missing , you'd not have this fixture congestion
jenga
i would not have thought that a wee bit of water from above would have called this meeting off considering how much they water the track when the suns out . looks like a mud bath most of the time L.O.L. damosuzuki
The kiddies race will be staying, and rightly so imo. The issue has been wasting time with tractors trundling round for twenty minutes, then having jungle balls and all sorts before we get back to the meeting. And trying to fit in too many intervals when already behind time.... and the tractor at one point bursting the air fence. Â + I thought it was the ref's that decided on the two minutes? At times at Glasgow for no reason there's a big gap before the next 2 minutes is announced. Â But it's still the premier speedway destination for me and over time everything gets ironed out.
