Arch Stanton
Tungate & Jacobs? How??? Jacobs' average is clearly above that of Connor Mountain? All the best Rob Wouldnt have been either of those two I'd put my house on it.
Argos
Ipswich hold our head in shame, you should be charged with bringing the spot into disrepute, how on earth can an experienced so called Promoter make such an cock up

Bash
What a complete balls up, you would think they would've had the changes ratified before telling the riders they were being released. Well this can go two ways, team spirit will be non existant or the two riders concerned start putting the points on the board. I think Conner was maybe down to the numbers game but if they thought they could replace 2 riders with another 2 up to the same combined averages, they should know the rules. I don't know why you shouldn't be able to but this is speedway.
Albert
“All I can say is that it speaks volumes for the club and the two riders that both agreed, straightaway to keep racing and giving their best for the Witches. Yeah...A club that just mucked up big style... sack first, ask questions later..... then admit the bspa were right not to sanction the moves in the first place. I thought Chris Louis was better then that. Edited July 30, 2017 by Albert
TheScotsman
Tungate & Jacobs? How??? Jacobs' average is clearly above that of Connor Mountain? All the best Rob Total of both? And try to use the total of the two being replaced. Using the wrong points limit? Not knowing the rules? Who knows.

Arch Stanton
Then who? All the best Rob No idea Rob but I'd be surprised to say the least if either of Tungate or Jacobs wore Witches colours anytime soon. the timing of Carl Wilkinsons tweet this evening seems too much of a coincidence for me so maybe he was one of the targeted riders.. Surprised that Connor was being released though. After an expected slow start he's began to ride well at reserve but as Bash says I guess he was just going to be victim of the numbers game. Gotta agree with the comments above though why on earth tell riders they're dropped before getting the thumbs up from the BSPA? Absolutely bizarre. TheScotsman
No way. I won't give Louise & Hawking a penny more than I have to. Hope the Weegies hit 50.
New era Panthers
Thought you needed special dispensation to sign a rider you had dropped, that was quick coming through Team only attempted to re- declare and new application not accepted so it's as you were even though they had told the riders they were be replaced .
Jonny the spud
Having had personal experience of CL's "management" style. (ie telling you one thing at 10.30 at night, then dropping you in the $hit 12 hours later) Nothing surprises me. Should be interesting in the pits at Foxhall.
Bash
Maybe it was Wilkinson & Jacobs 5.12 & 4.67 = 9.79 Sedgmen 6.69 & Mountain 3.18 = 9.87 As I said why you can't replace riders up to the averages of the riders being replaced doesn't make sense, but why make the rules simple.

The rules are simple in terms of multiple team changes (e.g. 2 for 2) and have been the same for years! All the best Rob

Bash
But you can change 1 rider like for like, but not 2 how is that simple. You build your team average up and have to lower it to bring two riders in, only in speedway.
TheScotsman
Interesting tweet from Sedgy. I wonder who got the BSPA to check the rules!

You build your team average up and have to lower it to bring two riders in, only in speedway. It is simple. A multiple team change is actually a set of 1-for-1 changes all being done together. You can stay above the points limit, as long as each 1-for-1 change is legal. I can't see how it can be much simpler.
