Mad Max
No danny king in the world cup team, another clanger by Roscoe? To be fair the standard and quality of GB squad is all very similar and on a given day anyone of them could be outstanding, or pants! Arguments for Rosco's selection would be Cook & Worrall deserve place as 1&2 in British Final, Lambert has to be in on his home track and Harris as the experienced head. Arguments against - King usually puts in a good shift at Kings Lynn Personally struggling to find an argument for R Worrall, Howarth or Nicholls, so you would have to say King is the unlucky one. Baldyman
Good for ipswich though. And that's what matters to me. Britain haven't got a hope in hells chance.
allthegearbutnaeidea
Lambert should be reserve with King in main team then replace the main team riders with Lambert in certain races to use him as effectively as possible
Bash
Brilliant news for Ipswich as we have four meetings next week, not good planning as Danny would normally be in the world cup team and I was struggling to find adequate guests to replace him looking at averages and riders available. So thanks Rosco. So we go to Peterborough with a full team and they need a replacement for Harris. Just hope nobody gets injured for team GB and Danny gets called up for the race off or final. Lambert is reported to have a neck injury and broken his wrist, so Danny might well get the call. Lambert not withdrawn yet, which leaves things in limbo, which is not ideal when a guest might be required
AntiqueSteve
What did you make of the report in the Ipswich Star today regarding Gino Manzares? Seems he is up for a return to Foxhall. Who would welcome him back? I would like to see him given another shot. I would love to see him getting another chance, anyone who saw him ride at Mildenhall can't argue he's an entertaining rider and adds a bit of Californian sunshine ..never say die attitude
JamesB
When interviewed during the Berwick meeting, Hume said that he hoped to be back on a bike soon. Has there been any further update as I missed the Workington meeting due to holidays? Are we getting close to the management having to take a decision on whether he replaces Mountain or Greaves? I know that Mountain is trying hard and has improved a bit recently but for me he has to replace Mountain.
CookieIpswich
If Hume returns and is at 75% of how he was before injury then he has to replace Mountain
2ndbendbeerhut
Don't think that decision will have to be made.... Edited June 29, 2017 by 2ndbendbeerhut
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
When I spoke with him last week he said he hoped to be back on a bike in August. That doesnt mean he would be ready to return in August. Also no changes allowed after the end of July anyway.

If yes, then that would be a real bonus as he would probably have achieved circa 5 this year had he stayed injury free.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Would still be a 2 under current regs. That doesnt mean it will stay that way if it suits others to vote for change over the winter....
Baldyman
Yeah any rider that didn't achieve an average of over 2 will be a 5 🤔🤔

Super Blue
It's a shame that Connor Mountain has struggled to cope with the Foxhall track the whole season as he showed so much potential before his injury last year. As long as we make the playoffs he might be the weak link that's the difference between success and failure.
