Badge
Just been on the witches web site and announcement(dated today 3/5/17) that Justin has now signed on 7.60 average to replace Nico. and here's the tweet @ipswichspeedway Ipswich swoop for @JustinSedgmen as move is approved by BSPA - http://www.ipswichwitches.co/story/ipswich-swoop-for-sedgmen … #speedway #Tru7Witches Edited May 3, 2017 by Badge
Baldyman
Any news on how long Danyon may be out for?? If all season its gonna be tough for us to make play offs I think.
Super Blue
Well, we're not the only team looking for a 2pt reserve now. Poor Danny Phillips of Newcastle and Kings Lynn Young Stars apparently broke his back and leg yesterday at Mildenhall. So many bad crashes already this season! Really feel for him big time and only 20 I believe. Get well soon son! It does however mean we are in competition for as good as we can get to replace Danyon, CL needs to get his finger out and get someone signed. TheScotsman
The shortage of available 2 pointers lends itself to talk of deliberate average reductions assuming teams don't to make multiple changes. Every year I think the sport has reached the bottom of the stupidity pit when it comes to rules changes - and then someone in the BSPA finds a new spade.
TheScotsman
Ipswich Witches @ipswichspeedway 13m13 minutes ago More We've got news of a new signing very shortly, keep your eyes peeled... #Tru7Witches If it's James Shanes we might as well give the trophy to Ippo now!! (But there again maybe not based on their previous record!!)
Arch Stanton
Nathan Greaves signs.
Countershaftcounter
He's a NL rider at best. Constantly found wanting at any higher level. Will fall off a lot.

Sidney the robin
I think Hume is nearly impossible to replace at home, Shane's being the only one capable of doing it.I think Greaves has improved but Ipswich do look weak at reserve now.

Hard to disagree, Greaves is best of the bunch tbh! Still, miles better than Bacon.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Welcome to the Witches Nathan. Whilst he hasnt so far made the progress that may have been expected you have to give him credit for continuing to give it a go at the higher levels. Probably the best choice of those available and likely to be a better option than any of the untried NL riders. Lets get behind him and give him a fair chance. 👏👍
89buttons
realistically were there any better alternatives? on the few times I've seen him ride theres appeared to be some potential, hopefully the likes of rory can take him under his wing and get the best out of him at this level! we all knew getting a replacement of danyon's level around foxhall on 2 point average was going to be difficult with no real options available, but welcome to the witches nathan! 2ndbendbeerhut
Taken from updates 8/9/2016 Heat 02: Greaves,Jacobs,Sissis,Hume(Fell)...60.2. (2-4). 7-5. Line Up: Jacobs , Hume , Sissis , Greaves Comments: Jacobs passed Sissis bend 4 lap 1 to take the lead. Bend 2 lap 3(ish) Jacobs got a little out of sorts and we almost had a pile up but he stayed in the lead. Bend 3 lap 3 Hume did a lovely pirouette, fell off and remounted. At some point on lap 4, Jacobs was passed. If he can manage that every week he will be doing his job as a 2 pointer Edited May 8, 2017 by 2ndbendbeerhut

Baldyman
Yeah amazing. He beat someone that fell off and someone that almost fell off. Anyway. He is definitely the best of what was out there, and he will get our full support I'm sure. And if he can score a few points now and then, then he has done his job
