Mike0310
I guarantee newman will be a brilliant third heat leader for you and you won't sign a better team man Ipswich are defiantly my second club after you come to my club Plymouths rescue last season with a loan of an air fence thank you for that and I think you have a belting side finish above old moneybags Glasgow and I. Think you will win the league good luck I'll be rooting for you.
GS550
Ok, now its been a couple of days let's look at what we have team wise.  Danny  After a slightly dodgy start last season turned out to be a brilliant captain and No1. Should at least be able to maintain his average.  Cameron  Went slightly backwards at Rye this year and should certainly be able to improve his average by at least a point if not more.  Rory  Welcome back, if he doesn't improve to at least 8.5 in this league given the level of opposition he deserves shooting.  Kyle  Welcome, never really particularly impressive form at Foxhall before but should be a solid 2nd string once he gets used to it.  Nico  Hopefully can kick on to improve his average and perhaps the proposed track changes will enable him to make a few more passes.  Danyon  Showed lots of promise so far in his brief time as a Witch and ought to make a mockery of his 2 average once he gets going.  Connor  I'm a bit concerned about him returning from a broken back, again lots of potential, if fit then great but if not it could be an issue.  All about opinions.  No reason why we shouldn't at least be in the playoffs with this team and genuinely competing for silverware.  Ipswich are my tip to win the 2017 league title. King and Shlein are both class acts and 10 point men in this league. The rest of the team solid. The whole team solid. King imo too good for this league and probably 10 plus. Sorry Glasgow but Ipswich look favourites to me, though Glasgow and Sheffield likely to make play-offs.

If he goes above Nico or Rory we will do alright! Certainly not bad for a second string 😊😊
MANSE
Schlein a 10 point rider in the PL you must be joking Newman has a better EL average than Schlein and he is only a 6.5 rider in the PL for the last 3 to 4 years. This is 1 of banker away wins for Glasgow I think we have won their the last 3 years
Mike0310
Glasgow to win the league not for me I think Ipswich,Sheffield and Peterborough will finish above Glasgow still amazed they didn't go into the top division with the owners money obviously not that confident,go Ipswich.

Not so long since Schlein was a Heat Leader in the Elite League and beating GP riders. He's a class act. Ok, so he has Monarchs past history so I guess that marks him in your eyes, and he's coming back from serious injury. But the 2017 Championship is weaker than the PL was last season, and his class may tell in this league. A near 10-point average is at least possible for Schlein, and I can't see why not.
Baldyman
2 times elite league riders champion only 3 years ago. Rory is a lot better than he is given credit for. Also always very good at Foxhall, a heat leader for Ipswich when in the elite league. Ya know what,,,,I think he will do just fine thanks
Bagpuss
Rory will do very well if he has an injury free year. But that is an enormous 'if'.
Bash
Does Elvin King know anything about Ipswich as his report in the Speedway Star continually refers to us signing Kyle Howarth not Newman.

TB1
The promoters have put together what looks a decent side. Whilst I think schlein is a great signing my only concern is that he has had more bumps than a dodgem car! Anyway the side has been put together and its now over to the 7 riders. Pogo1
Same big build up for Ipswich as it has been every year since they left the league above, Fwiw I think it's a decent team but where is the improvement coming from ? You need riders to add to there averages and they have two maybe three that can do that, Luv the quote that King is too good for our league, should have told R Worrall that before we won there again this season, oh and R Lawson and A Summers who got a 5. 1 over him in heat 15 at Ipswich the year before lol  Don't you just love the close season !!!
