spin king junior
Hume on a 3 mate, any rider that didn't achieve a 3 aka Josh Bailey 2.05 comes in on that but nothing under 2, all new NL still come in on a 3 Surely that can't be right? It'd be strange to introduce a rule that'd benefit so few.
89buttons
lets get the team building guessing going then!!  Agree king and hume need to be signed as soon as possible, would definitely consider mountain as well if both are on 2 starting average? I'm unsure who is and isn't eligible! leaves more to play with for main team.  king 9.57 sarjeant 5.80 covatti 7.49  Schlein 7.17 hume 2.00 mountain 2.00   t. kurtz 5.76 palovaara 5.80 rose 5.86 jake allen 5.96 manzares 5.43  a few potential options for last rider with 5.97 left, jake allen perhaps the stand out will somerset take him into top league on that average?  alternatively  king 9.57  porsing 6.58 busk jacobsen 6.98 covatti 7.49 hume 2.00 mountain 2.00  leaves 5.38  potentials  keeps 5.07 wilson dean 5.02 mellgren 5.33 jacobs 5.
allthegearbutnaeidea
They are on a 3 if they are coming in to the league from NL without an average.
TB1
Seems a reasonable agm to me in terms of structure. At least we get more meetings and the two leagues are closer together. Did I miss the bit about doubling up, is it still allowed?
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
They are on a 3 if they are coming in to the league from NL without an average.that is a glaring error if it is actually the case.Any rider that hasnt achieved a 3 should now be a 2 regardless of whether they have had a go or not. It cant be right for a brand new rider to be a 3 and the likes of Zach W and Ellis Perks to be 2.
2ndbendbeerhut
welcome to the weird and wonderful rules of speedway..... Â A bit like riders not coming in under a 5.00 this year but Holub did for Scunthorpe..... anyone see a connetion? that is a glaring error if it is actually the case.Any rider that hasnt achieved a 3 should now be a 2 regardless of whether they have had a go or not.It cant be right for a brand new rider to be a 3 and the likes of Zach W and Ellis Perks to be 2. but would mean Hume a 2?
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
but would mean Hume a 2?doesnt seem that way.No average so a 3. Â Although it could be argued he was in PL 1-7 and didnt achieve a 3 (not enough meetings but not achieved) so should be a 2. Â Mountain, Coles and the like a 3 though. 89buttons
Needs clarifying, my interpretation is that they're trying to get more young brits from the NL the opportunity of a team place in PL by lowering the average they'd come in on thus being more appealing to promotions, makes no sense whatsoever that the likes of Hume, mountain etc. Would have to come in on a 3 when some riders who maintained higher averages in NL last year can drop down as low as 2 having ridden in the PL
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
There is an official sgb tweet stating newcomers will still be a 3 and only those who have ridden in the 2nd tier previously and not achieved a 3 can come in on less (min 2)

spanner47
Last season CL did a good job making sure we had Danny for all meetings, dont think he'll be able to do the same next season. Far to many fixtures in Div 1 to avoid clashes, hopefully he'll just make sure he's available for all home meetings and just get the right guest for away meetings when the need arises. For ease of posting shall we just call the divisions 1 and 2? I suppose they aren't dancing in the streets of Hoddesden, WHY?? do they get renamed? Why House sounds ok. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Of course if Danny has been bought by Kings Lynn and they ride on a Thursday then he wont be back with us.....
spanner47
But will they resurface the car park or is it going to be just the same for puddle jumpers and day (TRIPPERS) Puddles? When does it ever rain at Foxhall? But agree about the undulations, but that would cost the owner a fortune to resurface, so can't see that happening in my lifetime.
