Travertine Posted February 25, 2017 Report Share Posted February 25, 2017 Ever since the Witches dropped out of the Elite they have looked to be potential Champions but as yet have never delivered, will 2017 be the year? That's true to a degree, but this season seems particularly encouraging for Witches fans. However, you only need to go back a year to see that this wasn't always the case - the 2016 edition looked very poor, and so it proved until changes were made. Did the shape look noticeably different?looked all finished on 1&2 - stadium was only open to fans upto that point (stands fenced off). Assume any work on 3&4 is completed as well but cant confirm. The entry to opening corner is very different, the exit less so to my eye. Wouldve liked a birds eye view from the stand but that will gave to wait til opening night! Arch Stanton Posted February 27, 2017 Report Share Posted February 27, 2017 Such a shame to now see a young British lad in Sargeant without a club in either league. I know it's a numbers game putting a team together, but I think he's very unfortunate not to have been asked back at Foxhall this year. IMO he handled the tricky number 2 position very well and racked up the bonus points. With the nature of the sport, I'm sure there will be an opportunity somewhere for him at some point.
