DW
I reckon 39.61 although Schlein and Heeps would be gambles Edited November 23, 2016 by DW
Baldyman
At least all the speculation and Witches fantasy sides will be put to rest before Xmas. Lets hope you forum boys don't start ripping the team to pieces before they turn a wheel I thought ripping the team to bits or liking it was the whole idea. Steve Irving
king heeps schlein newman covatti mountain hume I think you'll need to fit Sargeant in somewhere. Pretty big clue I thought last week when the Ipswich Witches twitter feed tweeted happy birthday to James Sargeant showing him in all his Witches glory. Could be off the mark of course, but both Ritchie Hawkins and CL also gave clues in their end of season assessment when both stated they were happy with him and would like to work with him again. I'm still not convinced on Schlein either. He will miss the Sunday tracks as well as any fixture clashes with his Premiership club. Would Louis be happy with that? This is a man that knocked his biggest money spinning meetings on the head (bank holidays) because he didn't want to run with riders missing. He had to work hard last winter to organise the fixture list around Danny King's commitments so I'm not sure he'll want the headache of dancing around Schlein's fixture list as well unless his Polish commitments are not a priority? 2ndbendbeerhut
i agree that team is 39.61. Could leave out Heeps and have 5.46 to replace him. Jacobs and Wilson Dean both fit. What about Kasper Lykke Nielsen? Or maybe "the King tour" has been on a scouting mission as well as a holiday? dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Or maybe "the King tour" has been on a scouting mission as well as a holiday? Im not sure the trip stretched to a trip to California.... Seaworld was probably the closest it got! 🐳🐋🌞🌞

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Would Billy janiro be a 4 after all these years. Are all new foreigners a 4?? dont think its all new foreigners on a 4. 4 is just the minimum they can drop too. They will still come in on 5,7etc as per qualifying criteria as far as i know. Super Blue
I'd rather have Heeps than Jacobs in the main team, Jacobs was more like a NL wobbler in his last few meetings this year, he clearly isn't comfortable at Foxhall. Wilson Dean is a different matter though. And Baldy, where on earth did you pull Billy Janniro from? If you're pulling Americans in what average would Hancock be? He'd be new to our league. And he can gate! Edited November 24, 2016 by Super Blue
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
And Baldy, where on earth did you pull Billy JanniroIm not sure I want to hear this but probably best kept off a public forum if you are going to tell 😲😲
Alan R Horne
I'd say morten has regularly let us down! Last year was no doubt his most consistent year in a witches race jacket I can't argue with that but where was he against Somerset in the play offs?? 4+1 at home in the biggest meeting of the year on your home track... steady middle order man but in the big heats/meetings he goes missing and pootles round on the kerb! Spot on with your assessments of Mortens season he let us down in the most critical meetings and obviously lacks bottle when its needed. Personally hope he never rides for Wiches again. Wilson Dean would be a far better choice than Heeps in our very important position of No 2, he is on the up at a steady pace. But knowing CL he will plump for the easy Heeps option. 89buttons
I think it will be heeps. and although he wouldn't be in my ideal 1-7 i do believe he has a lot more ability than his past few seasons would suggest, if the management can improve his mentality and approach to speedway and help him realise his potential then he could end up a bargain on 5.07 because he can and has previously averaged far higher! remains to be seen if louis and hawkins can get this out of him but don't think he's the worst option - someone did even mention lanham the other day.... Baldyman
Surly we should be going for the best option, not not the worst option. I think Louis may actually take the best option next season, he must be learning from his team building mistakes of previous seasons surely🤔
