Bee 26
Was impressed with Lasse in the meetings I've seen him this year. Good signing
Mr Bump
Agreed. Felt the writing was on the wall for Josh when King & Bates signed, giving us a necessary two brits. Lasse was so quick against Swindon, scored more than Josh has ever done riding in the top five. Shame though as Josh has been loyal. Never gives less than 100%. Onwards and upwards I guess. Woz01
For me i always say of you can improve your side you do it because later on in the season if things are not going great fans would turn round and say why didn't we make a change, theres no ambition etc. Horton took a huge amount of stick for not improving the side at Coventry last season and rightly so, one change couldve made the difference. Its sad that its a Brit that makes way but the rules allow it, blame the rules not the club for doing what it can to compete.

mdmc82
Leicester have definitely benefited from Coventry not running. They have been able to strengthen with Bates, King & Bjerre.
SCB
Lasse is better than Josh simple really and a good moveAnyone with half a brain knows this. Apart from last season when he come back from a broken thigh Bjerre has averaged more than Auty for the last 5 years. Bjerre will average over a point more than Auty. stevebrum
Lasse is better than Josh simple really and a good move It's really that simple. Staying faithful to riders doesn't win you anything.

You even said Sedgman should of been replaced at Belle Vue and was shown up by someone regarding his point scoring this year.

Robbobee
Good move by the lions management as will definitely make the team stronger at home given lasse appears to be something of a track specialist at BP Cheers
Sidney the robin
This is why team speedway is going down the swannie there are endless changes no continuity.Guests r/r riders getting booted out after a month a farce in my eyes everything is about winning now.It shouldnt be ENTERTAINMENT should be the no 1 goal and getting people to comeback and watch now all it is rules changes and promotions trying to get one over on each other.I was thinking Belle Vue 1972 is the best team i have seen would Ken Eyre have survived in that team in this day/age a big NO.He would of been replaced now by some foreigner who could score half a point more.Even though Eyre was popular with the fans and was at times a vital cog in that great team.

Agree with you there Sidney best team i have ever had the pleasure of watching race. But swapping Eyre no chance of that the team was all about bringing on our own riders back then(give them credit they are trying to do the same thing with the colts again now).If you remember every team member was one of Belle vues home products bar Ivan(and i include Soren in that statement as he was with us from day one in England and stayed with us for most of his career)Maybe we can do it again in a few years time with say Zagar(in Ivans roll)Cook, the worralls,Bewley,Smith and Bickley if they all reach their full potential fingers crossed, that would be a dream come true for most Belle vue fans. ouch
Probably not the best team to pick to make a point given how Belle Vue run their teams but in general you're correct about other teams hiring and firing without any loyalty shown
speedibee
This sport amazes me surely they knew which fixtures Auty had you couldnt make it up.Gomolski never there Bjerre is ok a hot/cold character another foreigner nicking a place off an English rider. As i have said i understand why they have done it give this Leicester promotion the benefit of the doubt they come in quite late.Bates has made some strange decisions lately and needs to address what the supporters think at Sheffield a crap racetrack when we all know it is a top class one at his best.Bjerre is ok but you will see over a period he is no better than Auty plus is not always a trier like Auty. Bates seems to prefer foreigners to British riders ,you only have to look at sheffields recent history ,bin Richard hall and give his place to Arthur sissis who is no better ,

Barrow Boy 2
I see even next Monday away at Rye House Leicester have not got a full side as Gomolski is riding in SEC qualifier so no facility for him although Ayres should be ok to ride and then get up to Wolves for his Cradley meeting in the evening What not even RR? weatherwatcher
All I can say is that these days it is more like Magic Roundabout, than seeing a team stay together for a full season. Bring in Mr. Rusty or Dylan at reserve.

Think you better look at the past two years sheffield sides and then rethink what you've said.
