Redcar 2017

Wilson Dean came in on a 5 point average for Somerset along with Jake Allen. Todd Kurtz does hold dual citizenship. Would be eligible in my preferred team. Would have Kyle Newman, Dan Bewley And James Shane's also. Three Brits to go with both Kurtz brothers, Bellego and Anderson.

He started at Eastbourne in the NL.

Know that. There has been a few over the last 10 years. Jade, Tregonning, Andrew Aldridge, Andrew Bargh, off the top of my head.

All of those rode as NZ riders when commonwealth riders were allowed in the NL. BWD rode in the NL because he has partiality but they've since changed the rules that to do the NL you need a British passport, which Jade Mudgway got earlier this year.

Also Busch is a 5

Busch is a 4.66 Minimum foreign rider is now 4 and he finished last season on 4.66.

Lee Payne 2.68. N L British riders can only start on 2.00 if the do not have an average and he finished last season on 2.66.

There is two averages next to Busch`s name on the BSPA list, 4-66 and 5-00, i would hope those who haven't attained their assessed average yet will remain on that figure until they do.

Jitendra Duffil has confirmed on Bears Talk that if Tobias comes back to ride in the U K he will be on a 4.66 average. Dont know what the BSPA are doing with the latest averages published this week. They state that all foreign riders competing in both leagues must have a minimum 4 average yet they are showing loads of foreign riders on an effective 3 average Jacob Bukhave and Jye Etheridge to quote 2.

How does that work  Thought you had to do a couple of seasons before your actual average comes into force, this is his first season isnt it? I thought it was 5.00 anyway, 4.00 seems too low, for riders who mostly start on a 7.00 average......

Its 4 and its says so in the Speedway Star this week. Was 5 last season. Yes some riders come in on a higher average if they have high averages in Poland Sweden and Denmark..

Plus your average is established after 4 home and 4 away meetings. You then build it up over 26 meetings. Then the oldest meeting drops off and the latest meeting is added in to the calculation.

As a supporters of a club also rumoured to be interested in Garrity I hope he ends up at Redcar.

Very much doubt he will end up at Redcar.

As a club asset a Bellego return to Berwick would be ideal, I wonder if Berwick would be tempted to bring in a fellow French rider.

Speaking of French riders Xavier Muratet is looking for a team, doubt anyone will take him up on his offer mind you, Dimitri and David are best mates and thinking about it David's career path was Glasgow, Berwick, Sheffield, Redcar where as Dimitri's was Glasgow, Redcar, Sheffield and they have never crossed paths

I was thinking of Muratet, don`t know much about him and his signing would be a gamble but there is the attraction of getting a new asset to the club.

Thomas Jorgensen 7.45

Hugh SkidmoreS 6.84

Paul Starke 6.62 / Charles Wright 6.59

Kasper Lykke Nielsen 5.16

Jonas B Andersen 6.30

Tobias Bucsh 4.66

Lee Payne 2.68

Think you may be correct with 4 maybe 5 of the 7. Was hoping that Davis Bellego would return as with him and TJ in the team we would have the basis of a good top end.
