Steve0
Dennis Jonsson has retired after nasty back injuries, Ellis wants to stay at Poole. Who is Dennis Jonsson? If you mean Andreas, I'd be very surprised if he has retired
TonyE
Who is Dennis Jonsson? If you mean Andreas, I'd be very surprised if he has retired He was Lakeside's No. 9 (never used) - suffered a severe injury mid/late season and, I believe, may well have retired. Woz01
More fool them then! To be fair we've always signed who were at the time 'number ones' on a lower average which gave us points to play with. Certainly wouldn't say no to AJ for 2017!
Joe Beevers
Dennis Jonsson has retired after nasty back injuries, Ellis wants to stay at Poole. Sad to hear about Dennis Jonsson. I know he signed at the start of the year but hadn't heard anything since. Be interesting to see if Nicholls does go to Lakeside and I completely forgot Kim Nilsson who could be an improver on his average. So, Jonsson, Nilsson and Nicholls the spine with whoever fits in I suppose.
Daytripper
Sad to hear about Dennis Jonsson. I know he signed at the start of the year but hadn't heard anything since. Be interesting to see if Nicholls does go to Lakeside and I completely forgot Kim Nilsson who could be an improver on his average. So, Jonsson, Nilsson and Nicholls the spine with whoever fits in I suppose. The most important name to get on the books, as far as I am concerned will be Kelvin Tatum. After that Kim Nilsson is probably the only one nailed on. After that it depends on how the league is structured, what happens about doubling up and how the EDR is arranged. No point in speculating until that is known. One rider may be moving South, another may possibly be moving North, one of the EDR's is dead keen to stay, and I suspect the other one may retire. Lewis Bridger will be on a bargain average if he gets a PL place and benefits from more regular racing, even more so if he gets rid of the Jawa and goes back to a GM, but that seems unlikely on his present sponsorship deal. Not sure what I think about Scott coming. I like him a lot and he is always very sociable. If he rode every or nearly every meeting as he did in the play off semi final he would be a great signing but he has guested quite a lot for Lakesside with good bad and average performances in roughly equal measure. June01
I'd very much like to see Frederik Jakobsen given a go. He's a great little prospect and has stated recently he's looking for an EL club.
The Voice Of Reason
At a guess Jonsson - 8.45 Lawson - 5.74 Nilson - 6.88 BECH - 6.26 Nicholls - 6.59 Branford - 3.00 Morley - 3.00 Total 39.92 BECH? Are you serious??!!

NickRushbrook
AJ yes Lawson Maybe Bridger no Nilsson yes Kennett Maybe Morley no Branford no Ellis yes since he's now magically discovered he can ride our track. Swiderski no Nicholls no Mear no Would like to make an attempt for Chris Harris though. Perhaps something along the lines of: AJ LAWSON NILSSON NORTH HARRIS ELLIS ZACH (IF he's on the draft as had been earlier suggested). Gavan
Cant see how Adam Ellis could be a reserve on a 5.60 average from riding mainly in the top 5.
Silver Cheetah Snr
Not Coventry. Someone else perhaps. Only if they buy him. Like you can buy AJ then.

Guest
Lakeside Hammers Press Release:: ::::::::::: LAKESIDE Hammers will not compete in the 2017 top flight as negotiations for an extension to the club's rental arrangement with the Arena Essex Raceway are still ongoing. Consequently, the club cannot confirm its place in the League at the BSPA AGM as required by the sports rules and regulations.Co-promoter, Jon Cook, said: "This doesn't mean the end of racing by any means as our talks are cordial and in line with every year's timescale.“However, this year's early AGM and the need for us to look at more weekend dates to avoid the calamitous weekday tunnel toll and A13 road chaos that adversely affected a third of this year's fixtures means we need the right agreement for all parties."We understand this news will come as a huge shock to fans but our long term need for our own home, and our will to achieve that goal remain as strong as ever.“Once we have details in place we will hold a public meeting to update fans as to our intentions for 2017 and beyond."
