Red Flag
A tongue in cheek comment like that , does it really? Does it tell you the hours of work and effort he used to put in voluntary to help run things at Lakeside? No thought not! Over the years I have put in probably over 1000 hrs of volentary time, never thought to ruin genuine supporters fun though
Daytripper
A tongue in cheek comment like that , does it really? Does it tell you the hours of work and effort he used to put in voluntary to help run things at Lakeside? No thought not! I can't believe you made such a naive comment. You must be unaware that the sport exists almost entirely on unpaid volunteers, even in quite responsible positions like clerks of the course. VOR is not the only person ever to volunteer at a Speedwáy meeting. A lot volunteer at more than one track, and put in hell of a good shift, far more than the general public realise. None of them expect a medal and only one former track staff member seems to want to go forums fault finding. The others know there is usually more going on behind the scenes that cannot yet be brought into to public domain but will come out in time. Sometimes business negotiations work like that. A fair number of track staff were at the D&D last night and none of them had a good word for VOR's attitude problem. He could of course have come to the D&D himself and got it first hand. As Red Flag said, why would anyone want to vote 200 times to try to mess the voting system up ?
The Voice Of Reason
Do you seriously believe I sat at a computer voting 200 times? Maybe I also kept a 5 Bar Gate to notch up my score? Surprisingly, I actually have a lot better things to do with my time Get real.

KevtheRev
We've never met, though I think I would recognise him from his previous role :-) I have no doubt he can stick up for himself, but wanted to wade into this debate as I think he came in for some harsh and uncalled for criticism from a handful of individuals, plus one certain person who thought it was OK to have a pop at a forum because it only had 43 members.
Guest
Quote from a Lakeside Hammers Press Release November 20 2016: "Jon Cook confirmed that talks were still ongoing and that a fans forum will be set up, hopefully before Christmas, when supporters would be brought fully up to speed on all plans for 2017. Cook also confirmed that team coach Kelvin Tatum would be taking on a larger role at the club from 2017."
