Tommy Sweetman
He has just had his 67th birthday and is as keen as ever in trying to win league and world titles with Wolves and Tai but is slowing down his own work outside of speedway which he puts in long hours. He booked this holiday some time ago and the club had everything organised but sometimes issues outside of the sport take more importance. So in short he isn't that old and there is plenty of life left in the old dog yet and hope he enjoys his time away with his family as next year he may be even busier ..... Hopefully The reason i thought he was 70 next birthday was because i know a chap who went to school(Dormston) with Peter Adams, and that's his age.Must not have been in the same years class. Yampy
When is Riss back??? Perks is clearly not working out and although Greaves is doing ok, we are clearly struggling in the reserves races.

Also struggling to cover for Sam with R/R in having to give one of the reserves a ride.
Gaz W
Why are Wolves using R/R at No 5. Surely it would be better at No
Beowulf
Why are Wolves using R/R at No 5. Surely it would be better at No 2 For the moment I presume it's because teams were declared before Masters injury ? I agree r/r at no 2 might be a better option.

SteveZodiac
I suspect they will save the meetings up until after the league programme has finished

Lefty
Thats the impact of having "space invaders" move in. It was pointed out to me that the 6pm start time vs Belle Vue on 28 August could be under pressure with Poole v Belle Vue arranged for 11am on the same morning!!!! If the Aces don't arrive in time do the "Spoons" go on first?
Perton Wolf
Why are Wolves using R/R at No 5. Surely it would be better at No 2 Yes I agree - I noticed that Belle Vue used it at no2 today. Think our team manager(s) are missing a trick here. Howarth is good enough to ride in the 1st string anyway, especially at home.

Perton Wolf
Well that is very good news for Wolves. Indeed - I suspect he won't be back for the Poole meeting on Wednesday as it's the last day of Perks' 28 day contract but should be available after that.
