stevebrum
I hope Freddie is back, particularly if the league is looking to use gerhard engines as Freddie is already well advanced.
waiheke1
Not sure if averages fit but here goes Jacob Thorsell Sam Masters Ricky Wells Kenneth Hansen Kyle Howarth Ashley Morris Matt Williamson That's an awful team to be a top flight side. Surely you will want fred to spearhead it?
mdmc82
Not sure if averages fit but here goes Jacob Thorsell Sam Masters Ricky Wells Kenneth Hansen Kyle Howarth Ashley Morris Matt Williamson That looks weaker than some of this year's PL teams
superguest
I hope there is a 2 Brit per team rule, with one having to start at reserve (has to be number 6 or 7 in the averages.) Otherwise we are not weakening the EL for any reason. We need new riders, preferably British in order for the sport to thrive. Wolfsbane
I haven't been able to get my head around all the stuff on the AGM thread but one suggestion seems to be that once we get to the first set of averages and the stupidly high ones, held mostly by the GP boys, convert to an actual that what is likely to happen is clubs will use the points that are saved to drop say a 3.00 pointer and introduce another 'heat leader'. Knowing that in previous seasons GP riders like to use the early season UK meetings to get match fit and shake down the machinery wouldn't it be mutually useful for these riders and their clubs to at least start the season, the Polish thing notwithstanding. If the Polish thing of 3 teams as reported is correct then I think Lindgren will be back.
fish keeper
I would like to see Lindgren back but if we were to keep him and say Thorsell that is a big chunk of our points until they get a proper average.
waiheke1
Lindgren 10.09 Howarth 7.18 Masters 8.88 Kerr 6.16 Thorssel 9.88 Clegg 4.04 Williamson 3.76 49.99 would look a decent team. Proba ly a better way to use the Howarth/Kerr points? For example, if Nicholls or HArris are available,, one of them plus a 3/4 pointer? THE DEAN MACHINE
Reading the piece in the speedway star about CVS walking through the pits after his last double header in 2015 when his team had lost to both belle vue and then Leicester and he said the riders didn't seem to care , they were laughing and joking like it didn't matter , well that's how a lot of ex supporters feel about modern riders
Wolfsbane
The important thing imo, at this early stage, seems to be to have the right riders in positions equal to their ability (Sorry BW, plagiarism alive and well ). I've got a feeling teams will be built on top end strength without too much thought to having at least one strong reserve.
Col
If Klindt is still a Wolves asset they would be stupid if they don't take him on his PL of 5.4 average attained during his time at Scunthorpe, Clegg on his Edinburgh average is also a bonus. Lindgren on 10.09 is also the most attractive #1 in the Premiership surely.

Wolfsbane
I know, I know, but the question has got to be asked. Batchelor 5.26? Unsurprisingly he's not flavour of the month with KL fans for next season but he can't fall any further can he?
