Col
Brady Kurtz could barely complete a lap at Monmore in the play off semi he was so incompetant a rider, I'm sure he will improve but that must be a concern. Then again Wolves could well be a 3 man team away from Monmore all year if they stick with that septet.

A no brainer if possible, which it won't be. David has been hinting at a comeback for a few weeks.

I bet you are liquidating your pants at the potential return of Howe to Monmore. The potential class of British youngsters cultured by Peterborough has long since failed to make a mark on the World Scale. Stead has now retired, Allen & Howe retired a few years ago. Only Harris remains, and he has finally lost his GP spot. Let's hope the future is brighter than that bunch of under achievers. That said Wolves won't retain the title without a serious injection of talent in the middle order or reserves. Howe won't be the saviour PK was last year. I assume your achievements are far greater - please share.

Stead was my favourite rider to watch in the early 00's, Harris made my week when he won at Cardiff and when he was run over by his team mate Kennett then got up and won the play-off final for Coventry. I never-minded Allen, he did a decent job. Howe was a reasonable rider. But Stevebrum was his biggest fan and wholeheartedly blind to his limitations. As for ZZZZZ comment. I haven't mentioned Howe in any comment for years, you're management have picked a team that won't win the league, not my fault.

Should Howe want to make a comeback he would be at least a 5 and I think he remembers too well how many Wolves fans got on his back before and like Klindt would rather ride elsewhere because of that. As for not being strong enough well we have seven teams all but complete and can't see too much better apart from Rye House. Yes it's not the exact seven I would have gone for but it looks stronger than most and more important we have seven riders and a track which a third of the league don't have at present so there's other things to worry about more than just Wolverhampton Edited January 7, 2017 by T.N.T.
stevebrum
Howe was a reasonable rider. But Stevebrum was his biggest fan and wholeheartedly blind to his limitations. As for ZZZZZ comment. I haven't mentioned Howe in any comment for years, you're management have picked a team that won't win the league, not my fault. Blind to his limitations? ? He was nigh on untouchable on the grass and rode at the highest level on longtrack. This was a guy who had undoubted natural ability on a bike. Did he under achieve in speedway? ? Possibly or maybe that was his level however he was one meeting away from the grand prixs to show that ability was there. I may have been taunted (some might say haunted) by a comment I made about him years ago. Funnily enough no one ever gets the quote right which is laughable in itself. For the record I said he had the POTENTIAL to be a world champion and I stand by that still. He never got to that level so maybe it was an unjustified comment. However if you base his ability on bikes (which I did) then I'm more than happy to stand by it. As for the 'liquidating my pants' comment - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Sorry Col, I'm not CVS or Pete Adams so no I didn't pick the team. We get it ,you don't rate it. Will be one of the stronger teams this season. And plenty saying the same so far.

Beowulf
Most riders have their limitations of one sort or another otherwise they would be world champs ..... Even then ! Erik Gunderson was in essence a gater and very limited from the back. Still achieved top spot. From a Wolves perspective one of the best ever spoons riders was Jan o Petersen, fantastic to watch and superb from the back, and couldn't gate at all. Yet his 1 world title was 5 gates. Go figure.

Fourentee
Sam Masters going like a train in Mildura this morning!! Well, good as far as it goes. Obviously would prefer him going well rather than otherwise, but I don't think Aussie form necessarily means too much when the UK tapes rise.

In all walks of life very few hit their potential. ...its called realism You are forgetting he's a spoon who rates Manzares although no one else does enough said Thats a very kind way to put it....I'd call him worse than that LOL Edited January 7, 2017 by outofdarkness
KevH
These lads put there lives at the line for us. I guess you meant to say "on the line"? Stupid comment.........yes, their lives are at risk every time they venture onto a track, but they don't do it for "us", they do it for themselves. Think about it, every time you walk out of your front door you are putting your life on the line.........an out of control bus could bowl you over, you could walk into a terrorist attack or you could come face to face with a machete wielding maniac!
