Col
Skornicki is past his best by ten years. More like 15. Are you that desperate to prove somebody wrong ? Shucks, silly me, its a Poole fan you are trying to prove wrong. A reasonable pass by a young Brit, you scotch at? I forgot, there are no young Brits or passes art Poole. Think Worralls bike was giving him trouble, he'd beaten Woffinden in his previous ride. Pretty sure any team in the league would take Clegg on that average, other than Lindgren it is Wolves only sensible signing.

superguest
So one ride in a play off final constitutes good away form! Hes 18 years old. His points dont reflect his efforts. Hopefully next year he will step up. If he doesnt, yes we may be too weak at reserve but what are alternatives? Theres no rider between 4-5 worth signing so we may as well go for a better top 5 and 2-3ptr at reserve.
Perton Wolf
Agree. Perfect team to beat. Howarth hasn't prgressed as many thought he would. Skornicki is past his best by ten years. And two very weak reserves. Clegg is next to useless away. I agree, it's not looking good.

Steve Shovlar
Try not to interact with multi alias posters but it's a team with strength and potential. not in that position I disagree. Someone is running scared of the champions methinks. Clegg can only get better. Anyway Poole would know about being useless away, that semi final performance was the epitome of useless. You know as well as the rest of us that Poole were devastated by injuries for the semi and the injury to Andersen couldn't be covered by the no show of Lindback. With a fit Andersen I am sure we would have gone through but Fricke put paid to that at Leicester. With the team Poole had to put out at Monmore it was no suprise we were beaten. Like coming to Poole trying to defend a lead without Woffinden or Lindgren. If you think the team mentioned a few posts up is good enough then I hope that will be the team. They won't come close with that lineup. Still, Woffinden will probably come knocking cap in hand before the end of July when his wc chances have vanished. Who will be for the chop this time? I agree, it's not looking good. Tell that to Brum.

Clegg needs to move to a bigger Championship track - length wise - to improve his riding as he could become a Chris Neath type of rider who struggled on anything larger than 300 metres.
Bagpuss
Quite agree, riding all of his home meetings across the three leagues at Monmore and Armadale did him no good last year. Unless he gets a place at Sheffield it's hard to see how that will change in 2017.

Id argue that any rider who achieves what Chris Neath did isn't a bad rider at all. I'd be amazed if Clegg becomes as good as Neath was. I'd be amazed if Clegg becomes as good as Neath was. I watched Neathy week in week out at Rye and on that sized track he was superb but the frustration was always his away performances and often criticism he got when he had a poor score away. He was a dedicated clubman and loyal servant to Rye House and was an enourmous loss to the club when he got injured.
outofdarkness
What is wrong with some people.young Clegg will be fine. He's a young lad learning his trade,as stated he's 18.....he improved so much last season and he'll improve this season.some riders develope with experience some don't develop as much as others. No one knows how good he will be it depends on so many factors,he probably does need more experience of riding bigger tracks but let the lad ride his bike and support his efforts and get behind the team. I for one was not convinced with last seasons line up but look what happened when a bunch of riders gel and support each other and work as a team.
Gavan
Nothing wrong with Clegg at all on that average and the Wolves team if they get Masters will be on of the strongest in the league. Nice to see the same Poole suspects infiltrate a thread simply to have a pop at another team! Every team looks poor to them and every signing. Nothing wrong with Clegg and those Poole fans mocking him are happy with Shanes who will do well to get 2 points!
INCOGNITO
As long as people look at a riders real average then you can see that not only has the league got weaker but riders in the Premiership are carrying averages for an even weaker league where there was no Harris, Zagar, Lindgren, Holder etc etc. So riders like Kyle Howarth may be holding a 7.18 average but his true average in the top flight is 5.13 and Lindgren 7.21. So while people think Skornicki may be past his best, how many teams would have snapped him up last season if he was available on 5.15 and would anyone rate him lower than Matej Kus or Ben Barker for example as he has a lower average but many would pick him above those as a second string in the top league. If Wolves were to go with a 2.00 reserve and the name Parkinson-Blackburn keeps coming up, then Skornicki may be a gamble but one that could pay off looking at some of the other strings lining up. However Dmitri Berge could be a decent signing as he lines up with Berwick but with so many doubling up riders, Skornicki would be a full member of the team as would Tobiasz Museliak on 6.34 and a safer bet plus leaves 3.19 for the final rider but most lower riders are on 2.00 however when new averages are out, it could give them more scope when the limit goes to

Like I say running scared from the champions. Talking about chopping and changing line ups I'm sure the master changers have plenty in the pocket ready before July. Klindt will be first replaced no doubt trying to get another GP rider on another ridiculous low average. Holder on stand by I'd imagine. BWitcher
Skornicki is past his best by ten years. More like 15. This sort of nonsense does make me chuckle. He was riding at No 1 in 2014 for Birmingham the last time he rode here.
outofdarkness
All i can say BRING IT ON POOLE.If this seasons team has any where near the passion, the desire and will to win as last seaons team them we'll be fine.Just look out Poole cause we aint gonna roll over and give up our title lightly. So Poole fans go back to your own threads and stop knocking.we'll see you on the terraces to see the mighty wolf sink pirates ship. He will will want to be the first ever premiership winner .But yes i think right now it's Wolves, Poole and Rye House who are up there and I think it will be a Poole Wolves final and I say that without the riders being announced and other teams not finished. But yes lets have a good battle. Perhaps with Coventry slow demise Poole vs Wolves will be the big sky fixture and some were we see great racing from both teams. outofdarkness
Alot can change during a season. Before the start of last season no one even considered us to be title contenders so I'm not writing anyone off even the old enemy Coventry. What i do hope for is commitment from 1 to 7 and if confidence is high anything can be achieved
stevebrum
Do you ever stop bashing Poole? Go and troll somewhere else. You did read Shovs reply that i replied to didn't you? You know the one where he was slating the Wolves line up saying Woffy will be back in July. Or do you have selective blue reading fingers??? I'd suggest to think before you post so you won't look so silly but I know I'd be wasting my time. Try and keep your Poole biased multi posting behaviour to you own thread.
